  1. Always nice to see Orion creep above the horizon in the east.
  2. That depends on where you are. No frost showing for here, mostly cloudy, and the wind picking up in the afternoon/evening.
  3. Finally, the temp dropped.. 32mm of rain since yesterday. Pressure rising fast at 2 hPa/hr.
  4. A few graphs from my station: Interesting to see how the air quality dramatically changed at that time.
  5. 13.2mm here. And here's the moment it found it's way 10cm down to the sensor
  6. 17°C and very wet now. Nice hearing the rain outside while the windows are open.
  7. Afternoon! What a dreary day?! A max of 18°C. Managed to get more garden work done. So many weeds banished! Lawn cut etc. Trying to get stuff done early this year, helpful now I've got one of those green waste bins.
  8. A pleasant day, reaching 23.2°C, but not much sunshine. I'm ahead of schedule with the Autumn clean up in the garden. Normally, everything is wet and stuck to the ground.
  9. Managed 24.3°C about 30 minutes ago, with barely any breeze. Very nice!
  10. What a beaut of a day! managed 21.8°C Lovely sat by the pond. Fish still active, chrysanthemums flowering. Reminds me of October 2018, very nice indeed!
  11. Just scoping through some of my data.. I broke 9 records for September itself, and 2 all time records - highest dew point and highest minimum temp.
  12. Nice find. On my website graphs, I combined data from both Hurn and Swanage Met Office sites to compare against my own data, as I am in the middle of those two. My own yearly rain average is a fair bit higher than those two sites, but it's actually close to the Dorset value that you've shown in that image, which is good to know.
  13. Lightning maps just gets it's data from Blitzortung. Blitzortung is made up of hundreds of detectors from amateur weather station owners. Anyone can buy a detector and get themselves on the Blitzortung network.
  14. Might get a chance for us tomorrow as a trough creeps through.
  15. To be fair, the forecast was for 40mph gusts here over the last few hours, including now. It's absolutely nowhere near that.
