  1. Down to -2.4°C this morning. Lovely and sunny, but with a chilly breeze. Temp: 5.3°C - Hum: 65% - Dew: -0.7°C - Bar: 1036.34hPa - Wind: ENE @ 6mph. Frost season is on day 77 and i've managed 18 so far - not bad!
  2. I've just been outside, it has now clouded over. Yesterday's forecast was for cloud, then they changed it tonight and said it would be clear tonight lol
  3. Temp was heading down, then went back up for a bit. I noticed a blanket of cloud out to the East, but wasn't sure which way it was moving. Temp has started to descend again, currently -1°C
  4. It makes a nice change to have a low humidity at this time of day, meaning my dew point is at -2.2°C, temp at 3.6°C The blue and orange hue is on the horizon again..
  5. I recognise that palm tree closest to the camera, I'm pretty sure I had a handful of coconuts under it, back in 2009 and 2000.
  6. Cracking frost this morning, a low of -2.5°C, 4.5°C lower than what the MetO's forecast was showing. lol Temp: 5.8°C - Hum: 71% - Dew: 1°C - Bar: 1038.00hPa - Wind: E @ 4mph.
  7. Temps starting to drop off a bit now. 2.7°C If you go by the fact that the GFS doesn't really do high resolution temperatures very well, this could be the coldest night that most of us have recorded in this region, during this Winter.
  8. Ah I see! Well, fingers crossed for both places. I don't know what it is lately, I never used to really care about dull skies- I mean I didn't particularly like them then, but I seem to have a real hatred for nothing-type weather at the moment.
  9. Still thick cloud here, forecast showed the cloud to persist all night. What forecast was that from? South today showed the West and North of the region to be cloudy all day, best of the sunshine to the East, and possibly parts of the South coast. The thick cloud eventually covers the whole region in to tomorrow night.
  10. The clear patch that was heading this way, stopped. The cloud has moved back East again.
  11. I for one, hope I end up on the colder side. I'm missing the white frosts! This weather makes me feel like i'm in a little boat, caught in the doldrums whilst waiting a fortnight for the wind to pick up again, and move me to somewhere with some interest. lol
  12. Slowly but surely, the MetO have adjusted the minimums for tonight/tomorrow morning. It was showing -2°C yesterday, then -1°C last night, 1°C this morning, now 2°C is the forecast minimum for here lol According to thee BBC, it was meant to be bright sunshine now, instead, its grey leaden skies.
  13. Overcast to start with, now brighter, although completely cloudy. I'm hoping for some sunshine later. I'm feeling extra cold today, so the heating has gone on early. Temp: 6°C - Hum: 88% - Dew: 4.2°C - Bar: 1035.79hPa - Wind: E ~ SE @ 1mph.
  14. We've? I haven't suffered with the issue at all, but then again, i'm using a modern browser.
  15. Yep - I've not had drizzle last this long before and only produce 3.8mm lol I've just spent the best part of 3 hours playing with some javascript and css to make an animation on the header of my website. It cycles through a few weather stats coming in from my station. It shouldn't have taken that long to do, but I always seem to do it the hard way! Still, its working nicely.
  16. It depends on the resolution of the radar. The NW one for example, has a resolution of 500m, giving 4x more detail.
  17. Damp and drizzly at times. Monthly rainfall now at 55.2mm Temp: 9.7°C - Hum: 96% - Dew: 9.1°C - Rain: 0.6mm - Bar: 1026.58hPa - Wind: NNW @ 5mph.
  18. February seems to be the month to deliver snow in this part of Dorset. 2009 and 2015 for sure, can't remember the years in between - must have been drunk?!
  19. Not quite as bad as the forecast suggested, very little rain and now its fairly bright, with patches of blue sky. Temp: 9.2°C - Hum: 89% - Dew: 7.5°C - Bar: 1023.30hPa - Wind: WNW @ 8mph.
  20. Currently at 5.4°C here, 0.9°C above the region average.
