  1. ..just had a moderate shower again, not sure I saw a forecast mentioning these? To be fair, they are not exactly widespread, but they are slow moving and quite sharp. 2.2mm has fallen now.
  2. A few light showers not too long ago. I just got back from Poole, and going through Upton, there was some huge puddles, it looked as though quite a bit of rain had fallen?! There's some flecks of blue sky now - brightening up a bit. Temp: 5.6°C - Hum: 91% - Dew: 4.3°C - Bar: 1019.47hPa - Wind: SSW ~ SE @ 2mph.
  3. Looking at the current GFS output, some of our Scottish members might be lucky enough to get some Winter convectivity this week. Low ELT's sweeping in through Wednesday and Thursday - what i wouldn't give to be back on the Isle of Skye!
  4. Unfortunately, a few houses down from me, they built an extension, if I pointed it towards the Purbeck hills, they'll be a grey wall in the picture. That said, I can't see the castle from here anyway lol Raining now!
  5. Corfe Castle looked nice shrouded in mist this morning. Down to 1.8°C here, this morning. It's currently cloudy, although there was some tiny signs of it brightening up. Temp: 5.1°C - Hum: 99% - Dew: 5°C - Bar: 1027.19hPa - Wind: W ~ NW @ 1mph.
  6. It's pretty chilly now, down to 2.8°C and the fog is back.
  7. Well, funnily enough, Christmas day 2013 brought some wet snow and hail for my location. I took a video of it when I got home at 8am after an all-nighter.
  8. Plenty of fog last night and early this morning! I had just a 2% range in humidity yesterday, very damp indeed. Temp: 6.9°C - Hum: 97% - Dew: 6.5°C - Bar: 1036.57hPa - Wind: WNW @ 2mph.
  9. There's good support for a deep area of low pressure to cross Scotland, strong winds on the Southern flank would mean Northern England getting the strongest of the winds.
  10. I've got a current conditions PHP script running on my website, which reads my data to try and piece together the conditions in to text. Today is the first time i've seen it used the text 'Foggy' and it's correct. hehe
  11. Foggy start, now just overcast and very damp! Temp: 8.9°C - Hum: 99% - Dew: 8.7°C - Bar: 1038.17hPa - Wind: Calm. They get a notification if you make a status update - stalker function!
  12. Thick fog has rolled in again. I've lost count at the number of days we've had fog this year, certainly more than I can recall over the last three or four years.
  13. Bring on some rain and gales! A bracing walk along the Jurassic coast to Dancing ledge during those conditions - great fun!
  14. You might need to go somewhere like here: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/climate/gctb66ydw Then choose the averages table tab. then either choose the district tab, or the region tab. Once chosen, add the mix/max temps together and divide by two.
  15. A horrible day until now - some blue sky and sunshine. Temp: 11.2°C - Hum: 93% - Dew: 10.1°C - Bar: 1024.92hPa - Wind: E ~ ENE @ 2mph.
  16. I've just had a massive technical argument with BT involving ipv6, as i've delved a bit deeper. BT (like Sky) are dual stacking ipv4 and ipv6, until ipv4 is turned off completely in the future. I asked, why is it then, that there is no option to either assign the same ipv6 address to multiple devices, or even turn off ipv6 on the router (Home Hub 6) like you can in your PC ethernet settings (you can switch back to an ipv4 address if dual stacked) They've told me that there is an issue in their latest firmware which stops you being able to do this currently, and they are in the middle of rolling out a new firmware to fix this. So in the mean time, they are sending me a Home Hub 4 to tie me over until the firmware is rolled out to my Home Hub 6. I can't really complain at that, as i'm getting something for free. Let's hope they don't switch ipv4 off in a years time?!
  17. Saying that, the IP would change when being on 3G/4G, I don't remember it logging me out on each device in the past. The ipv6 address can't be changed so that two devices have the same external IP address, unlike ipv4, as it is the device that sets the IP address.I guess everyone will have this issue now that the UK is moving over to ipv6?
  18. It has turned to night here, and absolutely tipping down!
  19. Unfortunately not, Paul. I can only be logged in on one device at a time. If it is IP related, Could it be due to the fact that each device has it's own ipv6 address, despite being on the same network?
  20. Pretty dark at the moment, just a mere 19 Wm⁻² of solar radiation. Temp: 11.6°C - Hum: 92% - Dew: 10.4°C - Bar: 1016.15hPa - Wind: SSE ~ SE @ 6mph.
  21. A 949mb low pressure to the West of Ireland at T+216 - Can't wait to see where this GFS OP run sits in the ensembles!
  22. .. just having a peep at the 12Z pressure ensembles for Aberdeenshire.. the OP not quite an outlier, but rather on the extreme side of things. There's certainly support for something a bit 'blowy' - how blowy is always up for debate. As we all like to say.. more runs needed
  23. Plenty of sunshine today, but still very damp. Temp: 12.7°C - Hum: 76% - Dew: 8.6°C - Bar: 1017.31hPa - Wind: SSE ~ SE @ 7mph.
  24. Another strange occurrence happening, I was looking at the GFS charts, about halfway through the run and then I opened a separate tab up with the radar, when I flicked back to the GFS to click the next 3 hours, the image fails to load. I have to refresh the page to show the chart images again. I don't know if this has anything to do with not being able to be logged in across multiple devices at the same time or not? Could this be something to do with having an ipv6 address?
