  1. I'm back up to Hull on Saturday, hopefully I see feet of snow coming off the North Sea. Apparently Hull is one of the best places to see heavy snow showers!

  3. Warm air will eventually get mixed out, I'm expecting a Midlands North event, the band will sink SE with rain turning to snow on its back edge.
  4. Anyone for lake effect snow? Buffalo, New York could get up to 36 inches tonight. 36 inches, could possibly imagine 3 feet of snow!?
  5. You know what that means Nick right? Must mean the MetOffice are so concerned about the inevitable snowmageddon and bitter temperatures that they can't scare the public.

  8. I can't remember when Matt Hugo was correct to be fair. I know that sounds bad but I've been following him as well.

  10. Chicago is currently at -24.2C. It's nowhere near their coldest ever day though...that was -33C on the 10th January 1982.That year also saw a wind chill value of -46C.
  11. It's very strange, even with normal bands of rain, they seem to fragment and split when they hit North Hertfordshire.
  12. This zone here is always awful for heavy rain/storms. Every time something comes from the West, it breaks up in that zone while the North and South has a field day. WHY?!
