MoW COUNTRY Sunday update: Risk of snow extends a bit further south by tomorrow AM, *roughly* M4 corridor N'ward, but local-level detail will remain impossible until events unfolding. Risk wind gusts 55-70+mph N Devon/Somerset/exposed Bristol Channel during AM needs emphasising.
Hi Beasterly! Good to see a few of us in here. Further north of Oxfordshire certainly, closer to here and further south a mix of rain/sleet/snow. But general feeling is a more sleet/snow mix here now.
Hi Dave. Yes well, thank you! Yes a good point for us, we are unbeaten in 6 now in league, just above relegation zone, play Gloucester twice over xmas hoping to do the double and pull away! Very tight league at top and now towards bottom.
Just 1 mile East of the City Centre. I have been told by people before i am South Midlands/SE England/Southern England. This thread is about right as i consider to be Central Southern England. lol
I was there! Bloody freezing, frost in one goalmouth. Yeah we were hanging on towards the end, last few weeks has taken its toll and you certainly went for it!
They use the UK4. I remember the Euro 4 was many a time supposedly modified by Chief Forecaster or something along those lines, Ian Fergie mentioned it a few times in here and on twitter mainly due to its shower distribution/snow signal!
I'm sure the Met Office don't base there forecast/warnings off just the Euro 4 alone. Remember a number of times Ian Fergusson said the Euro 4 was modified/blended when in situations like this before.
Euro 4 coming into range now, just as Storm Caroline leaves the country and the air turns colder behind and turns N/NW. Here is the EURO 4.
Edit. Just seen Mr Murr has posted the Accumulation charts!
Thats very true, but no harm in posting the output which the models are showing, though ofcourse will change, and quite a bit too from run to run! pinch of salt and all that.
