  1. 18z GFS. Good portion of country seeing snow, apart from SW. Monday into Tuesday, similar to what some of the ECM were showing.
  2. https://weather.us/model-charts/euro/england/snow-depth/20171204-2100z.html
  3. Here is the UKMO 144hrs. Corrected- I posted the 12z GFS... Ooops...
  4. Bit further out and in FI.. Low Pressure in Atlantic looks to be sliding SE on this again. Flirting with Southern England. More in the Atlantic but good alignment? Edit. Then blows low up and comes up across UK.
  5. Rinse and Repeat? Colder air hangs around alot longer. Heights drop temporarily to the NW then as Low Pressure moves across North of us and then heads E/SE pressure builds again!
  6. Bit of rain early morning, brighter thereafter. Hazy sunshine for much of the day, light winds NW. Top Temp of 14.2c.
  7. Having watched the ODI on Tv this afternoon from Bristol. England vs West Indies, it was cloudy all day and the skies looked threatning all day and even from the cameras could see rain in the distance for much of the day, seemed to just avoid North Bristol. One stage before today looked like from mid pm onwards the game would be washed out, but not a single drop fell.
  8. It was a good start, but soon fizzled out and the last 3 months have been dreadful imo. Limited warm spells and only fleeting high pressure.
  9. Love following this thread as summer heads into autumn and we all start to look at the N Hemisphere and how it starts to shape up as winter draws closer.
  10. We have just had a Hail/Snow shower, with thunder and lightning too in Oxford.
  11. Been snow flurries since about 1:30pm this afternoon, then cleared away 4pm, blue skies to end day. Clouded over in last 45 mins, before light snow flurries in last 15 minutes, left a very small dusting thus far, looks like its weakening as it moves south.
  12. Just had a Heavy Sleet Shower rattle through. Gust of 40mph too. Temp 4.6c. Dew point -0.4c.
  13. As expected the Cotswolds and the even longer track from NW eventualy meant the showers fizzled out. Few flakes in the wind. Seen by the radar in space of 20-40 mins.
  14. Good stuff! I have been looking at the radar and seeing that mass clump heading through Ireland thinking someone is getting a lot of snow from that!
  15. Well it is weakening. But could still reach here. Clouds to the North can be seen now after a few hours of clear skies. Temp just below freezing -0.3c. Frost and light covering of snow from early evening.
  16. Those Showers over the Midlands were over Manchester area 2hrs ago. Not lost loads of instensity. Can they make it across the Cotswolds..
  17. Its -0.4c here. Covering of snow on the top of the car. Grass also slushy accumulation lol
  18. Dusting on the grass and cars, better than last years pathetic excuse for a winter!
  19. Sleet turned to wet snow just after 3:30pm. Been snowing lightly to moderate for last hour, just starting to settle on grass and some cars as temp gets closer to freezing.
  20. 0.9c. Dewpoint 0.3c. Snowing still. Settling on cars and grass a little, slushy accumulation thus far.
  21. I'd say it's doing the opposite seems to be clearing quicker throughout malvern W Midlands, Cotswolds. Radar returns showing lighter precipitation but quite likely to be wrong (hopefully!)
  22. Heavy Snow forecast here from 4-7pm. But i can see from the radar it is already moving away from the Malvern Hills and Cotswolds. Won't be much longer left of it. Still snowing albeit lightly again now. Temp 1.1c. Dewpoint 0.2c.
