Just reading an artocle on Luton Today from a local forecaster predicting a return to mild weather after next week.
Has he been avoiding those ECM charts for late next week then?
Overnight change for Saturday. The low pushing a lot further south just clipping the South coast. Most of the region would remain dry. The Northern boundary would probably be Sth London.
Monday looks like proper snowmageddon! Huge band of precipitation could easily dump 4-6 inches quite widely before another band behind it comes in for Tuesday.
Just seen this in Carol K's BBC forecast.
That forecast was in complete contrast to the forecast I saw on the national news 30 minutes earlier. Probably the forecast for Norwich!
Extremely conservative and blase for me.
Right, these threads are impossible to follow if you've been at work all day. Can someone summarise what I've missed...?
Any predictions - location, depth?
Sorry, but I fail to see why its almost nailed on - its only Tuesday! You know what the weather is like in this country; it'll change hour by hour almost. Remember THAT ECM!
Not saying its not going to happen, just need a sense of caution for me.
Very minor Coast that. Only at FL30/40 which will only be on final approach.
Flying through the jetstream in the middle of the night is not for the fainthearted! Flying DFW-LHR during THAT tornado season in April 2011 was interesting!
When will this rain go away? The low pressure systems out in the Atlantic are just relentless at the moment and they have been for the last 18 months!! Ruining both summer and winter!!
