    Reports of snow in Manchester City centre, plenty on the radar, just need it to survive its journey over those hills

    I think i'd perhaps confused 16/17 with another, but 13/14 was dreadful here i dont think we even saw a single snowflake, this year has beat that so far! I still think we could see something tomorrow and Thursday but yeah like you say this certainly hasn't been a good winter,if this week fails to deliver i'll be looking forward to storm season again haha

    Oh yeah, they are about as much use as a chocolate teapot most of the time! Still nice to look at though when they are showing snow!

    Most of the precip charts seem to have our region in a sweet spot for Thursday, plenty of time for that to change of course but it's looking alright for now

    Im down in Woking on Thursday night, in uncharted territory south of the M4, looks like i might be travelling back into a winter wonderland on Friday ICON snow cover for Thursday

    Tuesday not looking to great for us at the moment, plenty of time for adjustments of course but the precip charts currently show the main snowfall either West or South East of us

    Looks like a streamer of snow heading this way now, usual high spots in the Peak District could see some decent accumulations looking at the radar

    Coming down nicely here, fairly big flakes and settling on cars and roads

    Is Buxton possibly the snowiest town in Britain? i cant think of many towns of that size that get as much snow as Buxton does

    Rain/Sleet here with a few big flakes mixed in, not got enough altitude for snow!
