  1. p.s who nearly had a heart attack when they saw the title?
  2. You'd get bored of the cold and snow if it was like that every winter, atleast if it were the mildest Winter on record, everyone would be even more excited for the next winter.
  3. How would you feel if the next winter was the mildest on record and what would you do?
  4. I bet most people don't believe that when other animals die they have an afterlife. I highly doubt anyone believes theres a centipede heaven, so why would it be any different for humans?
  5. We go from an early Autumn to summer perfection in just a couple of runs! I think it's best, as theknowledgeables tell us - stick to the Ensembles.
  6. 30C for London on Thursday http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2643743
  7. I'm sure someone said it was going too cool down?
  8. Very warm with temperatures between 26-27C, although showers will be breaking out.
  9. Frosty, you gotta admit this is certainly not what you would call 'heatwave conditions' for the North. It's cloudy and misty here. Certainly not warm. For the south it could be very warm but not here!
  10. What does that have to do with the models? ECM at 240 has pressure rising again
  11. Although a cooldown looks likely midweek, it will as others have said still remain warm. The much cooler weather, as it has done for weeks now, remains in FI. Every new run seems to upgrade the warmth and how long it lasts, pressure is also clearly upgraded a lot from last nights 12z ECM to this nights. ECM 240 doesn't look too bad either
  12. Not to forget the snow hurricane last winter!
  13. A much better 12z GFS, the low has moved more to the west once more. Staying warm all week for England and Wales.
  14. Think the cool lovers are going to be very upset, the warmth stays according to the 12z GFS
  15. 12z GFS vs 6z GFS at 120 12z GFS vs 6z GFS at 144 Slight westward movement of the low.
  16. For the north of the UK temperatures look like reaching 25C max, which is warm but certainly not hot. Hot in the south though with 90F possibly being reached on Monday. Looking at the output, by midweek it looks like a cool down with a few isolated thunderstorms. Nothing spectacular really
  17. A comparison between the models: ECM vs UKMO vs GFS at 120 ECM vs UKMO vs GFS at 144 Differences at just 120 hours, the ECM and UKMO look more alike.
  18. ECM 96 and GFS 96 ECM 120 and GFS 120 ECM 144 and GFS 144 ECM 168 and GFS 168
  19. I've a gut feeling the GFS is an outliner, nothing is set in stone though. Also, it's only one run, and is F1.
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/features/23382924 The Jetstream is also meant to be diving south by midweek, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a massive downgrade from the ECM. Looks like mid-week a breakdown will finally happen.
