Does anyone hear work for the croydon council or know of anyone that works for the croydon council?
Because you may be pleasantly surprised...

How do you mean? Not looking good for storm lovers or has their been an upgrade?
-
i would not normally do this
if you have travel arrangements made for monday
please change them
in my eyes it would not be worth the risk unless absolutely essential
not scaremongering
just want people to keep safe
Would you recommend me not commuting into work for an hour by train then?
Also what do you reckon is gonna happen to schools?

By the looks of the clouds, extremely heavy rain set to fall. However bbc weather only suggest light rain.

Well, it's rather improbable, but that setup shows a displaced vortex. If the ride of our side linked up with the one in the artic we will hace a big ride on that side and on the other side the vortex. However, it is too early to see something like that
thanks

Has anyone seen this chart in FI?
Artic region - 1030hpa
what does that mean?

as long as it looks like this I can cope ....
...it's a bit early to start ramping really but the LRF's that I've read recently have got me a bit excited at the thought of some white stuff
Back to current conditions and the Fohn effect, here is Jo's latest blog.....

hi all. haven't been on here in ages. I was wondering, this heat is amazing and am glad it is here but is their any hope of a breakdown? The reason is I am fasting during Ramadan which is 18 hours a day and this heat is not ideal and as a result I am fantasizing about a typical British summer day which is 18 degrees and rain.

A shallow trough may develop precipitation across Eastern & Southern England leading to a long period of snowfall. Courtesy of the GFS
ECM also liking the idea of this, will be keeping an eye the next few days!!
is their actually a genuine realistic chance of this coming of because it is half term and would actually like to go out hahah
