    Watercress happy and so am I .. also I just got offered a really good mobile home for the taking .. mine has lots of little leaks

    bizarrely .. both windows open to the west , no fire or heat .. old mobile home .. not feeling any sense of cold .. a little sleety as I type .. I like this weather .. watercress still growing even the coldest in the outlook will hardly penetrate the sheugh behind a hedge :)

    .. it is for the time of year .. I was just looking at the same recovery on Cryosphere Today .. both Hudson and Barents have made remarkable recoveries' To see the reversal of nearly 30 years of delaying freezing in the Hudson must be a surprise to many !'And a delight too

    funny .. yesterday was sunless ,then a beautiful crescent moon ! .. Today the fog stayed in place locally but Armagh and beyond was beautiful mid afternoon . Out and about .. this is the season for harvesting wild watercress . Severe frosts reduce it to mush .. And today I had my first order for a thousand cuttings of a new Hebe that grew on my nursery as a seedling in 2010 and survived the winter unprotected . Hope to have a piccy or two soon . Her name will be Hebe 'Charolette's Pink' '' .. after a friend's daughter

    strangely, I found ice on an electric cable lying on grass at 4 .30 pm yesterday . Nearby a just arrived car was reading 8'C . there was no ice on the grass .. any idea how ?
