Finally ! some water!
No thunder yet though. Just torrential rain. (and that lovely smell)
RAIN!!! Never been so excited for just some wet stuff! My garden is saved!

I can only assume a large accumulation of dust, pollen and other crap over the last month of heat created it.
My neighbours shed has an orange tint from the pollen so i guess mixing with water might create some nice soup. -

Ah damnit, Good game.
Im not one for towel throwing but this seems game over for the orange warning areas.

The constant rain for the last two hours has really cooled it down here.
Hopefully it does one and we can get some convection on the go.

Just chased a storm from around Cheltenham up to just south of Hereford, where I am now. A few flashes of lightning as I was driving but certainly not frequent or big lightning. Lots of rain though and some bad flooding on the B4125, only just got through.
I am now looking at the storm west of Oxford as my next victim to stalk.

Heavy rain now, Detector is going off more frequently.

The storm that passed by seemed quite elevated. Certainly not a low cloud, fork lightning kinda storm

Its SOOOooooooooooooooo humid. Sweat dripping.
Storm just past to the north.
Hope something more fun will come my way later.Seems like activity is finally starting!

Just on the edge of the level2 warning from estofex. . One can only dream.. Too north for the storms yesterday and too south today
