    Afternoon all! Temp currently 2.2, but got down to -2.5 last night. Snawshields completely intact....I think they are indestructable!

    SNOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!! YEEEEEEHAAAAA! ....OK, I lied. Snow for some....or should I say most in Kiltland....but once again, none for Skye. We did encounter a few flakes as we approached Inversneck this afternoon, but it came to nothing. Cloud was building up nicely as we drove through Cluanie, but it's clear skies for Skye! I'm tired of TOORPing and Tantruming, just have to accept that we ain't gauny get nae snaw!

    Once again, lovely clear, starry skies up here. I've packed my new snow boots back in their box, put the shovel back in the shed.....so that surely means......?????

    Evening Peeps! Guess what.....we had snow this morning! Just a wee dusting, but at least it was snow! As for Friday...depending on which weather forecast O look at, netweather tells me there's a 90% chance of snow in my area, Metcheck tells me there won't be any snow! So, experts, what's the chance of snow for Skye on Friday? I'm supposed tae be goin' tae Snecky that day, but we'll have to see what the weather will get up to!

    Evening peeps! Nae snaw here, a tiny dusting in Portree this morning, rather chilly though 2.4 degrees and falling. Doesn't look as if Skye will see much in the way of white stuff....shame!

    Notice how remakably green or blue Skye is? No surprise really, been raining here overnight and breezy and not that cold either. So, doesn't look like the NW will see much in the way of white stuff but it looks to get very cold later in the week. Enjoy the snow those of you who have it!

    Aye, nae white stuff for Skye by the look o' things! Ach well, maybe anither day then. We have light cloud here, nae rain, temp at 4 degrees. Hope you all enjoy the white stuff when it arrives!

    Morning folks! Temp down to 1.1 last night,now up to 2.3, no snow though, and i don't t think we'll see much up here anyhoo. We're just a wee bit too far west judging by what I've seen posted here. Shame, Skye looks so lovely when it's had a dump o' the white stuff.

    Morning Peeps! I see we have some new nutters....er....weather enthusiasts who have joined us, howdy doody to all! Am I sensing just the teensiest undercurrent of joy? Is someone's head going to explode with excitement? Should I buy a snow shovel today? I'm thinking about having a peek in the MT, it's still fairly early in the morning so it may be relatively safe...

    Well, it's been a lovely sunny day up here, and the temp has just dropped to 2.6 and still falling. Been a while since it was that cold up here. Just seen the BBC forecast, white stuff for most parts of the UK over the weekend....except for Skye, West Highlands.....bummer!

    Morning Peeps! I heard on the wireless ( Radio Hootsmon ) that one of the tabloids has headlines screaming 'Snowmageddon! Minus 15 for at least 3 weeks and bucketloads of snaw!' Kiss of death surely

    So, just how far north would you reckon Skye to be? Moderately far North, slightly far North, far, far North, or right off the damn map North? Or just to confuse the issue, North North West, higher than slightly Northwest, or........where?

    I'm deliberately refraining from ramping as it looks from that chart that the north and north west of scotland don't look like they'll be on the receiving end of much white stuff. Just keep calm and carry on.......

    Temp has dropped considerably up here, 12.6 yesterday, now down to 6.4 and clearing skies. YESSSSSSSS!

    OK, who farted in the freezer and blew the clouds away? Clear blue sky here now, and sunshine on the mountain tops....but getting colder!
