    Afternoon all! Freezing cold wind here, and hee haw snaw. Poor Arranites! That's some dump of snow they've had!

    Mark the calander folks! It actually snowed in Skye this morning! That, along with a very strong north wind, made it feel just a tad Arctic. Needless to say, it's all gone now, blue skies above, but still helluva cauld!

    Man, but it's cauld! Nae snaw, and I refuse to start ramping because I know we won't get any here, but might get a few nice frosty nights. May even get the telescope out!

    Evening Peeps! So, now that we're all expecting Spring to arrive, Winter is coming back in with a bit of a bang. Don't put the thermals away just yet then!

    Sun's gone, back to normal Skye weather now.....dreich! And it's mild too, central heating off this weekend maybe?

    Well, it was great while it lasted! That was over a week of clear, blue skies and nippy wee frosty bits! Just fab! And now we have cloud and the temp has gone up dramatically. Won't need the Leccy Blanket tonight by the looks of things! Our lowest temp last week was -4.7, but I can deal with that nae borra!

    Another stonking crystal clear day up here. I was in Uist yesterday and it was just stunning. First visit, will defo be going back there. The ferry trip back to Skye produced loads of photies. Will try and get some on here soon.

    A perfectly stunning day on Skye, sparkling sunshine and clear blue skies.....I'll take this anyday. Off to Uist later this afternoon, art exhibition at the college over there, back later tomorrow night.

    Afternoon all! Blue skies and sunshine and a very strong wind here today. May have to organise a rescue mission for my washing later. Looks to stay clear and cold all week......YAY!

    Defo very spring like here today, temp currently at 10.2,dry with a good breeze. Cauld weather? Ach, away!

    Something tells me that we'll miss out up here again! Ach, well, spring knocking on the door, very mild, birdies chantin', daffs pushin' through. I don't need my torch in the morning when I'm feeding the chooks and dooks. So, since we've had a really crap winter up here, can we at least have a lovely spring and summer? Please? Pretty please?

    Well, surprise surprise.....nae snaw! Helluva windy this morning though, wind up to 61mph, blew a lorry off the road. Nasty.

    Morning Peeps! Isle of Skye doing what it does best this morning, all misty and mysterious. Very calm and almost spring like too, so heehaw chance of getting any white stuff....as usual!

    Afternoon! Sleet overnight, nae snaw ( again! ) and absolutely baltic! I've given up on the idea of any white stuff up here this winter...except on the mountains!
