The slush-snow transition is happening. Seen it twice in the past week so things are looking good now. Roads are turning grey and will be white within 10 minutes, oh yes!
Just seen 3 gritters go past in a line, could be a good sign?
Snow is heavier and with bigger flakes now. The wind is actually blowing it horizontal down the road at times lol
It looks like SE Wales is going to be hit with moderate-heavy snow shortly and then we'll see what happens.
It's never been forecast to move further north than central/north midlands so it might hit a brick wall shortly. Hopefully while over us.
I think we're going to be let down.
Like I suspected earlier, it's becoming more and more fragmented at the back edge. We could be lucky and hit but the chances of 5-10CM+... ?
Looks like the intense PPN on the left is going to miss cardiff area, it's moving NW very slowly.
Could be waiting 2 hours before anything intense moves here at this rate!
Snow has near enough stopped in Newport. The PPN seems to have fizzled out a bit. Not getting my hopes up too much yet, we need that heavy PPN to rotate round and stall for a few hours.
