Yeah, ground is too warm and showers aren't heavy enough for long enough. Only hope is after dark for proper accumulation.
Where ever what is to the east hits now will have accumulation.

This looks like the main event and it's landing. Boom.
Edit glad my kids walk home from school, could be some problems for those further away, need to get up hill to get out of Dover.

Very weak precipitation here so it's just rain at the moment, maybe a few flakes mixed in as was quite cold on my face but not sharp.
Think that initial trough moving west, is the condition change point, seems colder behind it. Will probably be more later as even colder air moves west

I can stop moaning now seeing flakes lol.
Now got to hope it's not distruptive, mum and uncle arriving from London today by coach for tomorrow.

Saw some in December which landed, we'll see what this lot does, sounds like by the time conditions are right, it'll be northwest of me.

Great I bet the window people cancel again, like on Tuesday. Madness all this rain. At least we have upstairs done now, today.

Glad it's mild at the min, council is doing my windows on the 2nd 3rd, and half day for a door on the 4th, for a change the heating won't be on keep my house at optimum temp, cause it'll cost a fortune.

And another, this one set of car alarms lol

Lots of heavy down bursts happening here at the minute, on the 3rd one in half hour, no thunder yet, but look to be in a line for more. Wind comes with them.

Best squall of the year here, haven't seen white out rain and hail like that for a few years with the added bones of thunder and lightning. All depends on if you hit the sweet spot or if you find yourself in a gap I suppose.
Hasn't even reached here yet, wind has been mental all night though.

Windy again this is Infront of that squall.

It's windy out again. Did calm again for a bit. This weather is nuts.

-
Last one didn't effect here, it's windier now than at any time during that storm, but I was always way to far south to notice that one, plus Dover is very sheltered from north west winds.

When do the 'little darlings' pack up from school for xmas? Hoping for a quiet commute to work and home tomorrow without loud kids, loud phones, loud parents telling their loud kids off.....
Mine broke up Friday, just gone.

Very windy out there. Got woken up a few times in the night by bigger gusts knocking things over
Ut was very calm over night here, and wind wasn't anything to write home about, at any point today.
