That forecast is a waste of space

The op is 2/3c warmer than the mean - that would mean the snow line would drop south significantly compared to where the Op is for the Wed snow chances ! So the front would likely hit the U.K. and be snow for the majority of time rather rain to snow.

MOGREPS is solid, UKMO further south , GEm Great - the ECM Op will be an outlier from day 5/6. Looking forward to the snow charts from the EC ENS !!

I’d be ignoring the op if it was heading warn, however as it’s heading cold I think it’ll be correct either way the ens look very cold from Sunday to Friday - which in itself would be great with any snow cover!!

That’s is the biggest and best upgrade I’ve seen this week - all in very unstable conditions. I expect a METO upgrade today

On that last Op run the U.K. was under -6c uppers or colder from Sunday for 10 days ending in a scandy high - lots of snow chances in that - likely to be prolonged for weeks more. Is this the start of something pretty historic I wonder

If you look closely at the ICON I actually think it would be good beyond 120 - the lines are not heading west into Greenland - it’s just the change in heights over Greenland that’s making it look like it’s following the GFS - the flow is still heading south !!

At 240 it could come south again - I tell you what next week could be the best week for nationwide snow since 2010 at least - which I missed !! Pub run please come back tonight ️

Decent snow at 192 fir some, then some places hit hard the second time - for this run I’m quite happy in my house (sorry for the IMBY)
