Yes, deepest FI but let's hope it dosen't, could be flooding issues for quite a few areas, best if the jet is much further north, with lows tracking nearer Iceland, keeps the flooding away, do not want water in peoples houses for Xmas again
a shame because they are good forecasters, very well written forecast lots of effort gone in, well done to lorenzo and Matt!
but then you get a limited knowledge member like I remember Atlantic 252, saying the Atlantic will dominate with zonality, and hate for it to be correct
never any expectation from me, post 2000, everyone I speak to knows winters are getting milder and snow is becoming less common, basing it on todays GFS 12Z, it's mild for the foreseeable future, what's new 2000's suck, SIGH!
typical GFS for the 2000's, looks zonal from 7th, above average temps, wet and windy, ECM looks a bit better maybe drier, 13° and dry, rare so don't expect ECM to be correct
You sound like me! my thoughts too though, I try to post realistically or I wouldn't post it! we all have opinions on weather, mine is mild mild mild, just enjoy first 5 days of winter cold fans!
maybe realism creeping in, never to underestimate the Atlantic in Dec! no wrist slashing from me, I expect the Atlantic every year, still amazed though at first 5 days, I didn't expect HP in Dec
hoping its the 'transition' as the experts seem to think cold 2nd half of Dec, wouldn't mind a mild wet Atlantic week, even 2, IF we were guaranteed snow/cold 2nd half Dec, but we are not guaranteed it at all
