Everything posted by I remember Atlantic 252

  1. Yes @Frosty. shorts/flip flops out on 06Z, following on from 00Z, expect ECM to go same way on 12Z
  2. not really an 'outlier', an outlier is the blue one that gets to about -8 around 6-7 Dec
  3. Still going for double figure max temps from around 6th Dec, probably for 1 week, CET from around 6th-13th 8° likely
  4. could be last frosty night tonight, turning cloudier and less cold from the north during tomorrow, night temps rest of week around 2-3, daytime 7-8
  5. an 'I remember Atlantic 252' ramp, then prepare for the snow! but there isn't one quite yet, but looking better this Dec
  6. hope so! cos GFS looks horrid as I posted above, ECM good though, HP in late autumn, early winter very rare nowadays, makes a change, even if not all that cold
  7. Yes, much better ECM! could well be ice days on this run, frost, rime, depending on cloud breaks, but as Frosty says dry! team ECM for me, other models suck tonight
  8. then maybe Feb will be more favourable, after no doubt snowless Jan for the south
  9. something certainly to expect from 5th Dec, wonder what ECM will show, but I think normality from 5th, don't expect rain bands to move through at night either, still though 7 more dry days to go! not bad for Dec 1-4 dry, prefer GEM on the right as it looks dry (south) but doubt it'll come off, if it does though, shorts/flip flops out, winter clothes away
  10. 0r me Frosty, seems like on 00Z's it's a step forward for Atlantic air fans sigh
  11. I don't, already signs on 00Z's that we could be back to normal from around 5th Dec, a lot of members on here underestimate the Atlantic ECM looks 'normal' we and windy, GFS in middle trending Atlantic, GEM also going for Atlantic, I'm going for a very mild/wet windy spell from 5th Dec, just hope it can be as dry as possible in the day
  12. they must think Wed/Thur high to be positioned further south, then it will be average temps 8°
  13. what is it though with GEM and the 850's? always way too high? surely colder than this
  14. this was legendary, Dec 1995 again good old 90's before TMW no white Xmas but cold leading to this, my favourite weather setup, snowfest day
  15. better from ECM though! could be serious fog problems for a few members, assuming high dosen't move further south, looks milder in N Scotland
  16. should rise in the night, expecting frost free night
  17. only upgrade I see in todays 12Z's in FI is if you like mild! definitely a backtrack if anyone looking for cold from Monday 5th, WH suppose I only meant my location, wrongly I know, here was just rain and 5°
  18. Yes Matthew, certainly will accept it, miles better than sleety bursts in heavy showers, rain with snow dumpings for high ground, fair for all this
  19. Yes, was about to post that SS, GFS not going for double figure temps
  20. well rain tomorrow, but for this region looks light and moves through in early hours, bit worse for me though, damp maybe even wet morning
  21. no way by 'fun' I meant not to be taken seriously at 700+ hours away, its CFS!
  22. unless I use my name, Tom Martin Williams! post in here as they're not suitable for model thread, some may even say trolling, but if I was trolling you'd all know!
