  1. To be fair, even one day out most are pretty naff, except maybe the hi res models.
  2. That was always expected though I think. These LP systems nearly always trend south as you approach the event. Yet again, people in this thread fretting over precipitation charts!
  3. I really wish we could ban precipitation charts in this thread!
  4. If I don't get 20cm from this (North Essex, not far from Suffolk border), I'll be disappointed!
  5. Pretty confident it will be. Just seems a bit keen with that low.
  6. With a cold block, I think there is a good chance that the low will go under. It's FI anyway - and will be different on the next runs. No cause for concern whatsoever.
  7. No way would there only be that amount of snow. Just shows how useless precipitation charts are on the global models.
  8. We have seen easterlies crumble at T72 . . . But I don't think this will be one of those occasions. Looks like GFS has gone off one one. If the ECM shows the same, I may start to get a little concerned.
  9. Trying to pin down how much snow at this range is a fast track to the loony bin! Things change at 12 hours away, so not much chance at T96!
  10. I think it's a small risk, and only for the very extreme south.
  11. Great runs, and the UKMO uppers will be low enough for snow everywhere. But I would expect them to be lower that what is being shown, given the setup. ICON uppers are lower.
  12. Those in the south have certainly been on edge in terms of snow - mentally! Great output this morning though!
  13. Your prediction failed yesterday - so you’re trying again today! The ECM op would be pretty much country wide.
  14. Wouldn’t worry about the uppers with that channel low as it probably won’t be there!
  15. I doubt it. Get the cold in and any breakdown will usually struggle. Anyway, the breakdown is in FI.
  16. 18z low pressure 1cm further south . . . Come on, let it come out!
