The 0z GFS run is a ABSOLUTE STONKER of a run probably the best I have ever seen but
even this run could be surpassed over the coming days who knows.
From Scotland down the eastern half of the UK into East Anglia and parts of the southeast
from this Friday the temperature does not rise above 2c for the entire run.
Even though the northerly topples the east stays very cold.
T216 and its easterlies all the way. The control run in the ensembles gives its full support
to magnificent run which brings ice days, snow, frost, wind chill its got the lot.
excellent, excellent run.
Stonker of a run yes but also deep into F1, lets see if the trend continues before getting to excited

Just had a flash of lightning here.

Great photos Hagler, where were they taken? I was going to go to Waskerley yesterday but I think the roads would still be dodgy up there.
Just past Edmunbyers looking down onto the Derwent, Pow Hill, and then just past Blanchland, I tried to head towards Stanhope after that but that pictures of the drifts were on the road up there so I turned around as it was impassible. There must be 3ft of snow up on the tops.

Well that was a let down, the intensity disappeared the further inland it came, as I thought. The weekend is a right off as far as snow is concerned inland and in all honesty its not a bad thing as I'm sick to death of it now, bring on the summer

That £3.49 paid for the nut that held the bolt that held the frame to the chassis of the satellite that took the photo - then got trapped up its own 'I have a problem' and started predicting things wrongly- so aye.
It's not that far out, Consett is actually in Welling Garden City on the radar

lets hope not peter plus if we have this much snow on the ground wont that drop the temp a degree or 2?
The amount of snow that's lying and the the predicted temperatures it will take some shifting, they will still be lying snow from this cold spell when the next one hits.

Not really getting anything here, really light snow, it does seem to be losing its intensity the further inland its coming.
-
hagler where are you mate.i need some advice.
Are you running short? is it regarding what household products contain alcohol
-
Snow is turning a little bit more moderate but the flakes are still too small to get excited about.
Very tedious and if we had no snow on the ground, a light covering would of been acheived by now after about an hour and a bit snowfall.
Turned quite a bit heavier albeit small flakes but better than before at least.
I bet you're the life and soul of the party

Yeh Paul. I'm at DH8 5 and peterf is at DH8 8
I'm also at DH8 8 and regularly watch peterf undressing from my backdoor, I'm sure he leaves the curtains un-drawn on purpose
-
Lets hope it keeps its intensity by the time it reaches us.

Peter, I need a favour, I have a load of wood in my garden I need rid of. Can I drop it off around the allotment for you to burn?
