  1. Showers look packed Humberside northwards, very scattered south of that area.
  2. It's merely an opinion that's all, if the situation over the the UK in 15 days time is anything similar to the current one, then fine i'll hold my hands up and admit an error of judgement, it's just that these setups have happened in the past and almost totally collapsed, and please don't ask me on any date(s) as my recall is not great.
  3. 3 days ahead is difficult enough, yes, a very, very slight possibility of that occurring, yes, but this is the UK and there will another 60 runs between then and now.
  4. Showers starting to drift further south & inland - not here though!
  5. Bit of light sleet now, time for bed, expecting plain pavements, roofs & green grass in the morning. Temp still 1.1C.
  6. Still fairly tepid precip, band defo dying now, maybe more chance Sun - Tues.
  7. Expecting flurries, mainly light but possibly quite persistent.
  8. Might be an idea to download & watch that disaster of a disaster movie "Apocalypse of Ice" with all this talk of snow and ice on the main subject matter.
  9. Very cold for 4/5 days, yes, but with straight easterly winds, forget any heavy falls of snow.
  10. Seems to me a few need to cut back on the old G & T's, looking beyond 3 days and estimating depths of snowfall is a little premature.
  11. Got a suspicion it'll be fairly persistent but mainly light here - further west.
  12. Looking like a 4/5 day burst of winter at the moment - judging by the look of the latest chart(s), starting Saturday till Thursday, but, still too far ahead for any pinpoint accuracy.
  13. Anyone seen the latest GFS? - not looking too clever again, very touch and go.
  14. SE quadrant of the country not looking great, beyond 3 days looking like any toss of the dice.
  15. Dare i say it, has turned bright & MILD! here now. Not banking on charts over 3 days away, the UK's weather is just too unpredictable and stressful for many - especially on this forum (not myself!).
  16. Severity will retract every 6 hour run as per usual.
  17. Really have to say now that any significant snowfall just is not going to appear here now, pointless getting over animated over the very slight risk of a couple cm's of slushy wet snow. Nothing has fallen today.
