Some grey/blue patches of cloud in the sky showing now, still nothing falling. Large hole in radar over West Mids also, moisture seems to be being taken by the welsh hills and reform 80 or so miles downwind, may get a dusting here, but that's it i reckon.
If anyone was to look at the difference at the radar scans from midday to 1pm, it has weakened and fragmented significantly, so just expecting a few fluttery flakes.
Currently heavy snow, -0.3, guessing 2" on ground at the moment, wind has dropped, though still fairly strong.
8.30am, looks ended now, an hour of heavy snow, few drips on the go.
Not a sniff of any storms here - yet, just the standard medium/heavy frontal rain, has almost stopped at the moment, very light winds. Said yet, not going to happen, though rain has restarted.
Looking like the SE/E could (is) take a good soaking today, not the forecasted central England as per forecast just 12 hours or so ago. We'll receive some but not what is going on in the E & SE now.
Don't think many places in the Mids will see 1mm of rainfall let alone 100mm of potential rainfall as per the local (Shefali!) or national forecast predicted over the course of this weekend, a complete miss hit.
Gotta feeling the severity of this breakdown may well be downgraded a wee bit for when it's set to begin - looking at a few of the local forecasts. Also the max temps set for today are creeping up.
Has the BBC website caught a virus, as it has 8 days on the bounce with temps on or above 24C from Monday, here around my place of residence. I'm sure that will soon change with time i'm sure.
