Another event gone to pot, forget the snow, can look at the frost instead, BBC and the met-office needs an upgrade in its software.

A lot sun breaking through now, so whoever quoted 25cm falling yesterday via a certain news channel, may well be a little disappointed.

It's not cold enough, temps above freezing now. +0.7C here, slow rise all morning. It may well be a long term event, but not especially severe.

As expected, irritating light snow flurries, temp still creeping up, most surfaces damp/wet from what has fallen, so nothing has/will accumulate.

Best to ignore those and just glance at the radar & look out the window.

Can see why the West Mids are well outside any warning zone IF it were to stay like this.

It's merely an opinion that's all, if the situation over the the UK in 15 days time is anything similar to the current one, then fine i'll hold my hands up and admit an error of judgement, it's just that these setups have happened in the past and almost totally collapsed, and please don't ask me on any date(s) as my recall is not great. -

3 days ahead is difficult enough, yes, a very, very slight possibility of that occurring, yes, but this is the UK and there will another 60 runs between then and now. -
