  1. Highly unlikely to see anything resembling a storm here i'm afraid, that bubble needs to be deflated a little i think
  2. Rain on Sunday looks to be drifting further east now, and approaching precip from the south may not reach either, seems to be a small bubble over the West Mids where very little is "predicted" to fall over the next seven days.
  3. Looks like the sun's elevation is moving faster then the approaching rain (if it reaches here), as it has just it has just shone it's face.
  4. Best to ignore the "warnings" and just look out the window and keep an eye on the radar.
  5. Looks like Sunday morning, may be lively here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2633691/day3
  6. The national forecast seemed more like a forecast for the south and east quadrant of the British Isles - again.
  7. Just a dribble of rain overnight, would barely moisen a tissue.
  8. Just go out in your motor and put some weight on the right pedal, you'll see a few flashes then.
  9. Met and BBC still insitant on the threat from storms until Saturday, only flashes to be seen here will be from speed cameras.
  10. Still haven't worked out why the Met Office and BBC still have a 4 successive day storm threat from Wednesday through till Saturday over my location.
  11. Another distant miss here again, maybe some light rain, should update the storm warnings now.
  12. Looking more and more like the standard UK cloud & light rain here Wednesday evening onwards, rather than viewing a few flashes in the sky.
  13. Repetitive hint starting to indicate of something that may begin in early March if you were to look at the chart's, cold & snow that is - if any of you are interested that is.
  14. Has been known to snow around my birthday quite often - early March.
  15. Eye oop, some eyes will light up at this (Not mine!) - yet! :-
  16. V.cold start, bit colder than forecast also, down to -5.0C and still falling.
  17. 1981/82 was something to witness, that was cold, my sister had a burst tap, and when my Dad and i went over there to pick one or two things up for her, the carpet crunched under our feet, as the ice in the carpet had frozen solid. Alsp had 6 foot drifts, 18" of level snowfall, minimum temp that year was over in Shropshire - Shawbury i think, it touched -26C.
  18. Not exactly a memorable event, i have to say.
  19. Well whatever has fallen earlier has err, melted, just not cold enough, and the fall too brief and light.
  20. It maybe the remains of the upper level cloud from the remains of that low pressure that past the SE 2/3 days ago, that's preventing the formation of any stronger more power streams, hence the drier air - just a thought.
  21. Not quite sure how that useless met Office app can predict heavy snow showers here at midday tomorrow.
