Well looking around at all the models/forecasts/Posts I am still in the mind we are not going to see any wintry precipitation here in london. Was very underwhelmed with the TV forecasts today, all non-committal and very abrupt. It's one thing I have noticed with the BBC especially, they just don't give a detailed forecast whenever there is uncertainty past 3 days. it's just a repeat forecast after another until a new presenter takes over and then its the same forecast as before just with someone different giving it
So for me, although i won't expect snow, at least the foundations are beginning. But they may be halted next week if there is a mild period.
Having said all that, I am still looking at the smart meter with trepidation and hoping the winter bills keep low.

My only hope is for a Thames Streamer, Can't see anything settling in London unless there is a prolonged amount. However, looking at the models spread all over the model thread, i am not convinced anything other than rain is due in the next 5 or 7 days. but, hey, we are not even into December yet, Still 28 days till Xmas

I would have trouble getting any work done with a view like that from my office!

So, having read pages of posts, seen loads of charts, noted lots of opinions, my conclusion is: What's all the fuss about? it's a week away from December, its cooler this time of year, we might feel cold, we might see precipitation, frost, fog. hey ho, i love the model thread

Am working in Cheltenham next week and looking at the 10 dayer it seems to be same as London. Usually it's cooler up that way and i was hoping to see a decent fog/frost while up there.
Very clear and bright here this morning after a chilly damp start.

may be just a spill off point for the drainage system.

but looking closer, there seems to be an outlet of water at around 0700 on a clock that is darker than the sea, and spilling into the coastal waters.

But he's a tall chap
The one good thing I have noticed with this recent cache of posting is that the dreaded FI has not had much of a mention. Good to see model posts relating to present to 3-5 days and not what might happen at day 10 onwards.
