  1. That looks promising. Big improvement on last June and July.
  2. I think 90% of last June was green on the map....never again.
  3. And we all know what happened there with 1976...... It will be a decent summer.
  4. Oh God not again if thats true. I still have faith
  5. I am confident we're in for a good run. I have positive vibes for May.
  6. The same here! I wouldn't mind a 2008/2010 outcome to be fair - decentish summers. Those five days - they were all warm and sunny. My vague memories of 1993 when I was about 8/9 was a wet summer...2012 out did it and there is evidence. Not a vintage year...and even on a personal level too.
  7. Very well said virtualsphere. June 2012 has to be the worst June I have ever experienced. In the Midlands, I remember FIVE nice days - three of them I was ill in bed with a virus that had me ill for two weeks. It was nothing but rain, rain and more rain. I remember coming home from work, and it was VERY unsually cool - shivered walking home. We had a huge problem with slugs in the back garden, as the grass was that saturated it was like a marsh! Summer 2012 will be memorable for the wrong reasons.
  8. Another gorgeous day in Weston-super-mare! Very warm.
  9. I think it'll pay off in the end. It will be an improvement on 2012 easily
  10. If this comes true, this will be VERY good news. As mentioned, a 2006 esque vibe to it. Yet again, I remember April and early May being crap in the Midlands weatherwise, and it soon picked up, June was like an oven!
  11. Typical.... I just hope the flabby low goes away. Just wish there was a way to block these cold fronts.
  12. Looking gooood Honestly today hasn't been too bad. Breezy when I left to go out, warmed up in the afternoon - sunny, even walked it from the post depot to my flat!
  13. Great news!! Can get the second part of my decorating done on the Sunday, and some time on the beach on BH Monday.
  14. Does this mean that it won't be dramatic come Weds/Thur with the cool temps or that warm run never happening?
  15. This is encouraging. Shame about the weekend...I'll have the heaters on full blast Saturday night.
  16. I think they have probably based this on last year.
  17. You never know! It's looking promising though with the outlook. The weekend, how low is the drop going to be? It's been around 12-15C in Weston-super-mare. 9-11C would do me OK even if it's a bit ropey.
  18. Frosty, thanks. I am new to this, so its interesting picking at the charts. I am more of a heat lover here.
  19. This is a joke right? Cant we burn away this low pressure?
  20. I honestly think this is the end of the cold. Its looking positive and in my eyes we are in for a half-decent summer.
