    Yeah I hope so, it is a little way off, its a shame that the pattern is changing, hopefully its only a brief blip.

    Ahhhh getting a little worried looking at the semi reliable/ unreliable forecasts for mid July, Saturday 15th July is the Royal International Air Show "RIAT". Please please please be good

    I noticed this aswell, would it be to much to ask for a night storm later

    A cracking storm overhead, near on constant thunder rolling around, just as I thought it was gunna miss us aswell. To start with it built and passed us with rolling thunder then it back built soooooo quick.

    Disappointment here once again lol, all happened as it headed further north, A tiny shower and some rumbling in the distance, this is now the fourth time in the last 2 weeks, that the storms have done this.

    I hope so and I recon so, can hear more rumbles, not much wind and seems to be building above and around.

    First rumble of thunder heard, but everything going east or west so far, still time but doesnt to have looked to have exploded as well as I had thought it was going to, especially after looking at all the forecasting.

    Be soon time to start looking at the big live weather forecast on the large screen (the window) that is.

    Not yet, When I meant lift off I meant a line of showers breaking out which shows convection has started, fingers crossed we all get to see something

    Have another look, east of oxford and and a line along the north edge of the M25. Was a breeding ground last weekend between you and me lol, fingers crossed its more better positioned today

    couple of cells, south west of Birmingham and the area that I am really hoping for to ignite is N/London, currently a rash of showers developing along the north edge of the M25, this bodes well for Beds/bucks and Northants.

    And I think we have lift off, in the forecasted spots. A line from central london along the m4 heading north.

    Seems a perfect setup even looking across channel, I don't think that will hinder to much tbh. I been out first thing, cleaned car, cut lawn and was surprised how warm it was with a real humid feel to things.

    Glad to see a few having some early morning thunderstorms, for its the best time for a thunderstorm. About 4am onwards, always found it rather eerie, and sounds different.

    seems to be an area of something from Poole to Brighton, wonder if this is what arome was picking up, could this develop as it hits night fall, heading north?

    Yeah very humid out there even if it is a few degrees lower, it feels just as warm as previous days.

    Led to believe all the storm activity is for early hours and tomorrow, looks to be a fair number of showers breaking out currently across the southern and home counties, must be a lot of energy around.

    Some moderate claps of thunder as it still grows but I think it's far to past our area for anything closer, it does seem to be filling out perhaps towards kettering as I just heard thunder to my north east.

    Really hoping for this, it's quite slow moving and rather than moving on, it's more just growing out.

    I can't believe this, it's gunna skirt past to the south and west by the looks of it. Looking like it's gunna explode over Northampton but I am just to far east, still distance rumbling but that will be it.

    Rumbling like mad, this is going to be a good one, though I think its gunna skirt by us unless more side building to the east.

    Don't worry all, I'm gunna do my bit and clean my car! That will sure help things along...

    Clouds going up, cap looks to be breaking, next hour should see some drastic changes in sky line. Third time lucky lol.

    No, was hoping for a little. Heard a couple of rumbles when the storm that headed past you, well when it was around Thrapston, about as close as it got.

    looking at the storm forecast that have been put up, today seems to be the best for our locations in comparison to the last couple of days. Actually looks like they could be some of the more severe storms as well, wait and see.
