Yep noticed that, sun broke through nicely, heat and humidity has shot up. And clouds are bubbling like mad! -

Storm to my west, south of Northampton strikes popping up, can see it close from my house but to far to hear anything and going in wrong direction for me. This is however good news for what seems to now be brewing further south and east, now storms if you can just keep your selves composed and organised please. -

I can see to my south looking towards you two or three much larger clouds now, they are starting to tower up high but still on small side at mo. Wind is slowly dropping off, still keeping my hopes high. -

I will keep my eye out as I sit high up as well, you may be looking at either the shower in East London or the Dover cell. Storms are weakening across the channel, but just noticed in the last update they look to possibly expanding once across. -

Storm breaking across the channel, west of Calais. This is a lot further east than I was expecting. -

Clouds have been puffing away for some time today over Northamptonshire, nothing going to high I presume to a heavy cap. However in the last hour they are bubbling up a lot higher. I really believe many places have as much luck today as others, been up from 02:30 this morning for work but I may have to stay up and have a late one if things look good. Everything still crossed here. -

As a member for sometime who reads and studies mostly as appose to commenting, I must say I have never known in my time to see charts too and throwing, back and fourth to the point not much makes sense and a decent honest forecast can't be casted. Whether its looking for storms or in the summer charts topic, there does not seem to be much valuable information that could be considered reliable. Mad. I think anything is on the table, and something must be changing in our whether climate that's creating an extremely fast changing forecast. Oh well we keep looking on, but it can be very annoying. -

It was just a heavy shower as it went over Wellingborough, I live looking over the fields towards Wollaston up high. Just as it left Wellingborough it got very electrical, and scooted across Wollaston, poddington, then along A6 towards Bedford. Now looking at new showers pepping up over Kettering way. -

A lot of showers pepping up and becoming electrical from a line from Spalding to Leicester, looking at the rainfall radar I would say a fair more could be come more organised and bigger. -

Where is this rain, did not water garden last night due to forecasted rain. Looking at radar and there is a lot of precip over head, none of which is making it to the ground. Will be annoyed if I get home later this afternoon and have to water after all this talk of rain lol. -

Working around Peterborough this morning watching the very early development of those storms above me with a tiny sprinkle of rain, knew they would explode out that way. Storms seem to struggle I recent years to develope more readily further west. Or so it seems. -

A few close lightning strikes here, and some loud cracks, some extreme rain and hail with it as well. Has now all died and moved off. -

Long range forecast Cold, snow etc = actual weather cold wet wind. Long range forecast Warm, dry and calm = actual weather cold wet wind. Repeat process, no point in looking at any forecast at the moment as the same pattern keeps on coming as has been for months on end now! Any signs of major change just become eroded nearer to the time. -

Waking up again this morning with rain, and cloud flying across the sky at silly speeds! This relentless weather is becoming more depressing, hampering on any events or things to do outside that may need doing. Also I have given up looking at weather apps for day to day forecasts as they do not or cant keep up with the changes, Looking in the long term forecast topics seems silly as nothing really proves correct anymore, any cold or warm calmer weather foretasted ends up just turning to the mush we have now. Surely this pattern can't keep sticking on and on, really need a good couple of months of calm and much drier weather minimum.
