    Snowing here to, but showers fizzling somewhat. Nothing is melting so there is a balance .. Lot of moisture in the Irish Sea .. Pushing snow well inland

    North and East, hopefully South and East will do better to ! ~ This low certainly didn't track throught North England through central, ~ it's more likely to track to Portsmouth at this rate!

    Some Sferics West of Scotland associated with this Low.. it seems very likely to be quite a good event for hail - thundersnow.. and possibly tornadoes when it hits Wales ~ however, it does seem to be losing it's "eye of the storm" look.. and may'be nothing when it gets here.

    Metoffice updated their warnings, forecasting 50-70mph winds across Wales tonight! Last night on GFS, I noticed a "potential" low hitting Wales, I didn't know what to make of it, I can only assume that's the polar low that may develop out of the current isobars of the large low Sitting beyond NE Scotland?

    if you run the netweather radar it looks to turn into a hook around 13:15 before splitting at 13:25

    May'be a little odd, but the thunderstorm in SW Wales has developed a hook! ~ Will be interested to know if there were any gusty winds or a mini tornado around Narberth & Whitland

    that's just Newport haha. Infact, there's a lot of showers forming over Wales, really heavy thick snow stuff!! Unfortunately they seem to be mainly North of the Beacons! I have hope !

    Lot of inland showers developing over Wales, won't be safe on the A470 through Powys! I thought the same thing, we are on the top left quarter of that map and part of Wales hits the left border of the picture.

    hopefully I'll have access to some camera(s) and record anything Thursday-Friday .. not easy at night when the snow normally hits.. but I can always take a torch .. whether its for a cm or an inch!

    It only takes a couple of snow showers to cause chaos. I'm supposed to be going to Aberystwyth on Saturday, so I will be keeping a very close eye on it. My Uncle normally drives North of the Western valleys, and through some valleys that have silver mines... anyways.. so yes.. I will have to observe the weather right out through the week to get a sense of the road conditions. It already looks risky.
