For obvious reasons Glastonbury 2020 was cancelled. it would have been held on 24-28 June 2020. From the Met office website. GFS goes for it turning a little bit more unsettled from around Friday.

Swansea. Wasn't expecting anything last night, although I don't look out for thunderstorms like some. When you are woken up by thunder it can get a bit startling. There was also a very short intense downpour. It didn't last that long but was intense enough.

I used to swear by the BBC forecast but since the latest change to MeteoGroup. I feel the accuracy of the forecast has dropped and the the graphics used on National Forecasts are much smaller than they used to be and often hidden by city names. I much prefer the Met Office video forecasts, and even the ITV ones, again based on Met Office forecasts.

With 25.5c, London and Saturday being confirmed. Here are the results. No one got it spot on, with Freeze winning 0.3c out, lottiekent in 2nd, alexisj9 in 3rd. I have attached a full list of entries. There were 61 entries - with a (mean) average of 22.9c Looking at Weatheronline (unofficial) today, a few sites got to 20c, with tomorrow looking a few degrees warmer. daily.pdf

Looking at GFS for this coming week, the 850HPa temps look surpressed to around +5c. and the temp forecasted is 21c for Wednesday. Accounting for a typical GFS underplay, I'll add a few degrees. So my guess is 22.9c Wednesday London.

9.0c and 60mm I think it might be a mild April, prehaps milder than I am suggesting and perhaps a fairly dry month after the deluges so far this year.
