    Been raining here all day. Started heavy then turned into drizzle all day now cold outside only 16 deg was wet and dull yesterday too. Can't believe this is supposed to be summer. My little corner of the BI has been plunged into autumn for the last 2 days roll on the storms this weekend.

    Got flashes to the SE of me Nothing showing on radar but still see lightening high up interesting night ahead 17 deg with 80% humidity here

    We have high level lightening here at the mo coming from the SE direction very faint thunder but not much looks like i will have a storm cloud overhead soon. yay

    Well had one distant rumble about half an hour ago a very heavy rain burst for about 10 mins and that was it for me. was walking the dog with no coat on did not get very wet. looking at the radar that is my lot now and this afternoon should be nice for me. Plan to paint the summer house. Have a good one everybody.

    On M20 coming back from a trip to Dover very intense pulses of rain in dover folkestone very light at ashford where I am now Can see edge of system at ashford.

    Just driven down to Dover from maidstone very heavy rain no lighting in folkestone or dover on m20 on way back now.

    Hello all. I am sitting here in a one bed tiny converted kennel in the middle of a field on a farm in Christchurch. Staying here for a week and have had a wonderful day walking in Bournemouth beach and pier. Sitting in front of a small wood burner watching the sun set and the sky turn from blue to hazy blue as cloud comes over as forecast. Have a great week I am sure I will. SQ1

    Tamara I have been a member for 10 years now and remember you joining. Please don't give up your talents are wasted on the MOD thread. Stay in here with us we appreciate all you do to try to keep us informed of what the models are saying. People like you John Pike and JH are valuable to this forum and even more so to this thread.     I agree with chrisbell the MOD thread is a terrible place to be at the moment so many different points of view and so many people commenting with one liners that have not a lot to do with the weather models at all. This thread is a welcome relief from the model watching and i must agree with others on here that JP does a sterling job of letting us in this neck of the woods know what is going on. Keep it up JP. And I personally am looking to dryer weather what ever it may be it will be lovely to have a break from the rain for a week or so.

    Evening guys and gals. There now seems to be some possibility of some white stuff falling at the end of the month which will be a nice change. My dog seems to prefer outside at the mo. We have clear skies now such a nice change from earlier today and I don't care it is cold lol
