  1. Lovely bright frosty morning, really solid ice on the cars and pavements too. Fingers are crossed that at least some of you out west of me see some flakes through today, and perhaps tomorrow too. Could be worse.
  2. Light snow here with the odd heavier burst after an hour or so of rain. Finally getting to test out my new garden lights
  3. Hello jtay! *waves* It's stopped raining here now, and is fluctuating between full sun and grey, but it's muggy, and very still. I may be a bit far east for much fun but fingers are crossed for something to kick off later.
  4. It's gone from grey with drizzle to full sunshine with drizzle here in the space of a few minutes, which I suppose is an improvement.
  5. Well it is raining cats and dogs.. Exactly! Stopped for now, cooler and fresher and my allotment will be happy. Still looking pretty dark to my NE.
  6. Seems to have stopped with the thunder but the rain is now torrential and falling on fairly firm ground. Quite a few poodles..
  7. Few rumbles heard E Hants, each one a little closer. Low cloud and moderate to heavy rain.
  8. Nice! Thank you. Fingers are crossed for something better soon, good to see many folk having fun though!
  9. Looks great from afar but I think with the westerly component I'm a tad too far north. Enjoying the vids though. Just faint distant thunder and a bit of light rain here.
  10. Wow! Bl**dy wow! It's still a way off yet but the light show is bonkers!
  11. I'm not far from Butser, the lightning intensity and frequency is crazy. I'm also seeing more frequent flashes beginning to my south east towards West Sussex way.
  12. After what turned out to be a few distant rumbles and rain earlier, there's now some pretty frequent and intense lighting to my south west. Whoever is under that must be having fun I'd imagine.
  13. Evening folks. The sky went yellow, now it's pitch black and the rumbles have started. Great early start to the season!
  14. Indeed MWB, I didn't expect it to last as long as it has, perhaps if it can hold out for another hour or so we'll get a decent top up. Still coming down here, much lighter though.
  15. Blobs appearing to back build a bit in the past few frames over W/Nw Sussex. Could give some a bit more time under the precip
  16. Alternating between snizzle and snow now, but extra 1.5cm now and the paths are completely white again, laaaaavely.
  17. If you play it like Blockbuster then technically you only need Beka to pop up and tell us she's only got snizzle
  18. Must be imminent, it's practically on your doorstep. Actually just fell a*** over t*t in the kitchen after one too many and slippery snowy shoes. Unbelievable Jeff Edit, beaten to it!
  19. It's a funny one as we're so close to the Sussex border, I post in the SE thread if I'm over that way but generally I find the SW thread lovelier, slower and more chilled. There's a few of us here but E Hants folk seem to be rare.
  20. Epically heavy snow after a day of quiet, heaviest I've seen this year. Ground getting covered and filling in the sparse bits, yipeeee!
  21. Just popped my head out as it had stopped for a while, moderate snow now, bigger flakes too. It's reet chilly too
  22. I can't seriously be the first to mention gin today? Come on you lot, you're letting the side down Still coming down out, extra 0.5mm. Going to make a nanoman in the morning if it stays at this rate.
  23. Evenin' all, been busy today so not had much chance to see who's got what. It's snowed to varying degrees for most of the day here but virtually nothing settled, heartbreaking! Just starting to get a slight covering now, probably 0.04 of a centimeter though Oh, and on the prosecco but plenty of gin for later. No snacks though!
