    Running through the animation, it looks like it will hit our neck of the woods around 7-8am. Hopefully that's correct because that's just about bearable on a Sunday morning.

    The kind of setup where you could see a dusting, and a few miles down the road it could be a memorable day. (And vice versa) As mentioned already, Feb 1st 2019 was similar and some of us lucked out big time. We weren't predicted much at all, but got around 4 or 5 inches. I think somewhere in our region has a good chance of a prolonged spell of snow. Looks like the further NE you are, the better.

    That's odd, not sure why mate... but Wales is included too. "There is the potential for some snow, even to relatively low levels for parts of Wales and SW England on Sunday morning." He does stress the uncertainty though, but when is there ever certainty.

    Thought a bit of radar watching could be the cards tonight, but might skip this one. You can just tell it's gonna be frustrating. My expectations are at 0 so anything white that falls out the sky will be a bonus tomorrow. Model thread is popping off atm. I'm not one to take anything past +144 seriously but do FI charts have more credence because of a SSW event? Or less?
