Has been around 2c all day IMBY, frost has stuck around all day where not in the sun. Looking ahead, tomorrow Met office suggests light snow tomorrow morning... maybe, we will see etc..
Interesting and unpredictable times ahead next few days. Good luck for those looking for snow!

Nothing like reliable but next week (just for fun) GFS 12z
GS 12z
Tuesday...TBH not thinking this is going to happen but options open over next few days and I bet anything of interest will be close range only. Or a combination of radar and a quick peek out the window maybe..

Happy Fridays
Proper frosty out but some bright sun. I get that there is a general mood of 'no snow..' but showers can still occur for the Mids. Lot's of examples in the past, but also a lot of examples where we see nothing. So, keeping an eye on short term developments only.
Someone help me out here too, Cheshire gap streamers don't tend to get picked up on models so keep an eye out there too. Some pretty decent snow fall when that makes it this far in land.
Cheers!

Hellos...Back like some weird migratory bird type thing for another winter. Absolutely chucking it down here. Would like at least dry for a start...

All depends on what you call “gotta”, for me its mild and wet is grotty especially in Winter....at least we have some thing that’s Wintry ( fog and a hoar frost ) I’ve just seen a lovely red sun set here
Now today is different, cold out but bright sun. Helps me feel a bit more awake and motivated!

The weather forecast for the next few days IMBY is grotty. that is all. Bored already.

Just rain here earlier..not had a chance to look at short range to see if anything likely to crop up later.

Happy new year (belated). Noticeably a bit colder now after the recent mild spell.
Will be keeping an eye on the radar later/tomorrow for that odd surprise we sometimes get
7c here and falling

Merry Christmas! Cold out there in the breeze, which is picking up a bit. Taking the odd peek at the radar, looks like we will miss any heavy rain etc.. Too early to start on the wine??

I sometimes struggle this time of year and the odd cold hunt (even if failed) does help. Always learning something new here and is really fun when things get lively! My family will keep me busy otherwise over the next but will check back...
Merry Christmas all and to those taking time out, I hope you return to boom worthy charts of whatever weather persuasion..

Hi all, The flip flopping of the models over the last number of days have been interesting if anything, but I’ve now completely resigned to the fact they’ll be no wintry outcome over this Christmas period But I’ll keeping the faith as we go into the New Year....as always
Merry Christmas to all

You never know when something will hopefully come up! Will be taking a sneaky peak at 12z, 18z - 0z and so on...

My location:
I would take it..
Still not writing anything off or throwing in towels etc.. its just weather and we might get some interesting times ahead. For Christmas day and Boxing day, it's short range only now I think. I cannot see either day being 'mild' entirely. It might be wet but mild?
