The memories of the task still haunt me. Worked full time, had a family and also achieved my professional qualifications (2). Thank goodness I’m not going to do that again.

What poor advice? How would you improve it? Difficult giving advice. You either say too much or too little. When there is a vast range what do you say?

In the case of self isolation it is says confined to your home and don’t go outside. I can see this being reasonable in the case of a flat where common areas are shared by others but not in an ordinary home that does not share any common areas. So access to the garden and depending on the situation open spaces seems reasonable.

I am sure some ungracious people will try and make sure it does. How many on here could perform well with such a pressurised situation. Not me for sure.

My view Is a lot of money is going to thrown at this problem so “hopefully” something beneficial will come forward sooner as oppose later. Appreciate the basic works require time as does testing.

Went to the Cash & Carry to non panic buy a few bits. Part of a jolly with my daughter who wanted to learn about advanced driving techniques. Have concerns about my daughter and this virus as she has had her spleen removed. Day she had it done she heard that she had achieved a first class honours in Applied Biology. We are therefore well aware of the potential problems.

DCMOfficer Saying on the news that measures will be brought in to try and manage the outbreak. Problem is if they bring it in too soon there will be problems with ongoing compliance.

The elderly (whatever that might mean) on the whole want to get home, whether they can cope or not. My mother was fiercely independent and was anti having any help. How the carers, who eventually gained access, maintained good humour I don’t know. All I wanted to do was give her a darn good slap.

Don’t speak too soon because in a couple of days everyone will be at each other’s throats not agreeing. Then the moderating mafia will step in and euthanise half the posts
