With several on here are saying they had Coronavirus like symptoms last year what I don’t understand is why didn’t it spread at that time to any notable degree. Or is it only people on this thread that were affected? It is only since the explosion of cases in China that the spread has happened.

Seems to be a number of flights in and out of Venice at the moment.

It is such a difficult dilemma for any government to take. If they shut down well nigh everything it would at least delay things. On the flip side there would be many who would have no income so could not buy food and other essentials even if they were available.

Probably all been shot so they can claim nobody died of the virus.

If you are not suffering unduly why waste the NHS’s time? Not as if they haven’t got anything better to do. Of course this might skew the statistics. I’d just self medicate and ensure I didn’t cause a spread.
