Probably we are all getting ready for tomorrow’s church service. It is Sunday tomorrow isn’t it? Or is it the day to put the bins out? Lost the plot unfortunately concerning which day is what.

Always tired. Always trying to push it if in the right mood. Always busy thinking can that be right? Unusually for me had a kip this afternoon. I was busy writing stuff last night at about 3.00am dealing with stuff to resolve that had nothing to do with Covid other than it has caused horrendous problems for other problems Nothing to do with this thread or website.

Sounds like good sport? Nicer the more gentle threads though.

Granddaughters first snow event. Had to make the effort.

Anyone noticed there is an amber weather warning out for snow or are you all looking for snow next June to notice?

Best snow events almost come out of nowhere. If past events are anything to go by it could be rain turning to snow, big dump, snow turns back to rain and you end up with an horrible slushy mess that then promptly freezes. Then A&E becomes full of broken bones with the added bonus everyone this time catches Covid. In any event it would be nice just watch heavy snow falling and covering everything even if it is only fleeting. Can but hope.

People at home so much now they only have flip flops to wear.

Or not probably. So often we have cry wolf warnings. That is with out going into the Mod thread.

What a horrible wet night and God awful morning. It was only about 6 months ago I was wishing for a drop rain.

If you have Windy app it is quite good looking at the webcams in Spain. The app will show new snow cover. Most show a stream over a 24 hour period. Lot of places start with no snow and then a lot. Very envious.

Not normal up there as so few people about. I remember it when my mum moved there in the 1960’s. So much nicer. Yet another place that is a victim of its own success. Use to like to get in the sea knowing what the tide was doing. Up coast or down? So if down coast saunter up to the pier, looking a hero with my trunks on and gut held in. Then into the sea to look really cool as the tide took you down the coast so I could get out about Gun Hill. Not exactly exhausting. Happy memories. I like to mock myself as everyone else probably did.

Nobody swimming or sunbathing at Southwold today. A real boiling sea.

Had to go to Southwold today to check out if my mum’s cottage is ok. Most unpleasant day to go to the seaside or anywhere else for that matter.

So sorry to hear that. Another of life’s unpleasant milestones. I really hope everything that needs to be done runs smoothly during these difficult times.

Really hope there is no snow and ice next Tuesday as I have brief essential trip to Southwold. Don’t want to go but on this occasion needs must.

Don’t trust a lot of these temperature readings. Still haven’t got two thermometers that read the same. If there ain’t ice on the bird bath it ain’t freezing.
