  1. Literally like October! Rain, wind and cool temperatures. Shocking July. Hope this cooler than average conditions is a sign for winter, usually don't work out like that but who knows.
  2. Sfrics just to the SW of Birmingham, Torrential shower here too but no thunder.
  3. Yeah was almost a gale out there earlier, knew it was gonna be windy but how strong was surprising.
  4. Even though not had any storms today the sky has been stunning.
  5. Nothing here, storms missed us to the West and East and left us with nothing but a single rumble and moderate shower, some beautiful cloud scapes though, will post some later.
  6. Developing shower time-lapse. 358782085_6306130326170729_699159964852247409_n.mp4 Bright echoes on radar about to hit here.
  7. Frequent lightning on this cam now - Some extremely bright flashes on there currently.
  8. Still some late convection happening surprisingly, probably the last though.
  9. As expected more showers did form over parts of the midlands recently but not much electrical activity from them. Still seeing towering clouds to the South still though.
  10. Yeah was surprised how intense the rain was for a good while too, thunder only started as we were on the back edge of it though only heard 2 rumbles altogether, the other being faint. Yeah maybe we will get more showers this evening maybe looking at the skies and radar.
  11. Intense shower here with a rumble a minute ago. Confirmed by Blitzortung.
  12. Another storm not as good as yesterday with the rainfall but thunder was louder and was some gusty winds ahead of the rain which was just heavy but not torrential, had a few claps of loud thunder seen a couple of flashes so 2 days in a row. This summer keeps on giving for around here . Also some good cloud structure as it approach and as another devloped overhead before the main one.
  13. Frequent rumbling now also gone very atmospheric like it sometimes does befire a storm.
  14. Maybe it was from this, wasn't sure if it was accurate.
  15. Nice little storm flashes were infrequent but had a couple overhead, but saw a lot of flashes just to the East on that very active storm now heading into Derby. A very intense burst of rain too which i got soaked in. Another thundery day. We are getting spoilt this year around here. Very angry, dark and moody looking skies. Different to the June storms in a weird way. Also this event kind of reminds me of a day of storms in May 2016 when a few storms kicked off in the day but the main event came on the evening when a line of storms starting in the SE traveled up the country to the NW and after the storm, there were several torrential showers without thunder, which is exactly what we have had here today a storm and now a lot of heavy thunderless showers.
  16. Can see the anvil from the storms to the west including further convection and a lot more convection here now the sun has came out, very warm and humid still. Keeping an eye on what those cells in the SW Midlands do as it all seems to organising into one big line.
  17. Looks like some decent activity starting in the channel.
  18. Storm pop corn already and some well developing in the distance in the south and west, more cells could fire up soon. Also good starting the day with sun.
