Yeah looked like one when they started to form and just went chaotic from there pretty much, still didn't manage to get one of the heaviest downpours though somehow lol and yeah got noticeably fresher now. -
Impressive capture @Arnie Pie, been missing the downpours here just to the north or just to the south, and been stuck in the middle with light/moderate rain, just like this morning.

Haha, I think that's about a mile or 2 to the North as its much darker , just a few spots here so far, looking out NW though, im not sure if im seeing a weak shelf cloud or not but it looks similar. Quite a few pretty potent cells firing and decaying, surprised none of them have sparked.

Yeah starting to look very interesting here, we might have a convergence zone activating by the look of the clouds and radar. It would be sods law that we get our first thunderstorms when your cam isnt working .

The first time i've felt a bit of mugginess in the air this morning at 12c, even with the showers. Could be a good sign for later if the cloud breaks.

Nothing up here in the Midlands just general April showers, some with hail. Hopefully we can get that early plume later this month to bring more widespread thundery conditions.

Hail, downpours, rainbows, but no thunder. Interesting day still though.

Wild weather to come this week, a lot of hail and downpours today too, developing in clusters as forecast. No thunder here though. But good to see some has seen some thunderstorms earlier especially in the East of the region.

Looks like no lightning from these, nice rainbow now though, and some small potent showers developed further west again.

I wouldn't be surprised it is as it would explain the funnel Metcast posted earlier. Also seems to be a weak shelf cloud on your stream.

Just missed here, but sferics now near Leicester and still in the cell near Worcester which looks to be back building. Edit - Now raining heavily as i typed this.

Hopefully the one we're watching will spark as its looking more potent on the latest radar return. Also it's the most threatening looking skies since last year.

Yeah a few cells coming into our area now, very dark out west. The same as what's on your stream.

Been interesting watching this line build up for the last hour.

Very rapid development just to the North again where convection has been happening, this cloud shot up in the space of 10 minutes and now an echo on the radar.

Yep clearing up now, after all the confusion and unknowns, it turned out to be a really good spell for most of us, the best since 2018 easily.

Very heavy snow just dumped a cm or 2 in about 30 minutes, very large flakes too.

All surfaces where the snow melted yesterday are now white again. Also a radar shot for our region, as its not every year we get the entire region covered in snow. Especially 3 days in a row for some parts.
