    bluearmy GFS aside I pretty much agree. GEM ,which nobody has mentioned is a beauty. UKMO and EC are on the road to cold.

    UKMO /GEM 168 GEM then goes on to produce a snowfest at 192 onwards GFS is rubbish but looks the odd one out at 168

    Better GFS but sadly UKMO going down the flat as a pancake route. Lesson I've learnt, it's pointless putting any faith in GFS fantasy island charts when UKMO or EC disagree at day 6.

    @blizzard81 the last sentence is very telling. There is nearly always something that goes wrong,time and time and time again. Last year it was Nina to blame, wonder what's to blame this time around. NINO / EqBo = waste of time .. NINA / WQbo = waste of time. I'm convinced we'll see cold,probably March but I'll be logging off for another winter well before then..

    LOL EC now wants to introduce a monster PV. I'm afraid chasing UK cold in the modern climate is becoming a complete waste of time....( Scotland excluded).

    EC is abysmal. Pretty much everything that can go wrong... Fast losing patience and hope for Feb ' The above chart is the 8th and the clock is ticking rapidly. Obviously we have different opinions on march/ April cold,its not for me personally if anything its just a kick in the wetsuits..

    UKMO looks similar to GFS 168 GFS = mild wet and windy . You have to LOL,nearly 20deg in parts of Scotland..
