I would to say thank you to all staff and guests from tours 3 and 4. It was brilliant and I enjoyed spending the time with you all. Although the weather gods only managed to gift us with a brief F0 tornado on tour 4, we saw some fantastic storms and lots and lots of fantastic lightning. I came home with many lovely memories from our time out on the plains. When I get my laptop working I will sort out my videos and will post some photos. Thanks again Tom

Started the day pretty stress free Started in York Nebraska Ended up chasing in the Maddison area. Intercepted three tornadic storms, got caught in golf ball size hail and a very close CG. We got treated to one of the best lightning shows we have ever seen it went on for ever. Ended the night in Lincoln Nebraska Some photos one from Tara of a CG. Heading down to Kansas later. Tom

What another great day One thing bI have not got a photo of is the fireflies - Millions of them like something from a fairy tale they floated around us while we were taking photographs. In have some photos from today the first cell we chased went up pretty quickly to over 60,000 feet. More to follow

Currently sat in bed in Wyoming sipping a black coffee - Had two long drives Norman to Sioux Falls covering four states and the yesterday from Sioux Falls to Cheyanne Wyoming. Neither days panned out as the should have. So todays forecast would appear to mean than the good folks of this area need to hunker down this afternoon. Strong tornadoes are possible. Large hail and strong winds - none as strong and Paul's wind after the meal last night. We sat and watched the wind shear above yesterday at a gas station . I had not seen it as strong as it was since Hallam day. The clouds at different levels where criss crossing each other above our heads. So watch out today. Tom

Started the day in Tucumcari , New Mexico - A great motel We drove north over The Raton Pass altitude about 9.000 ft - There were storms firing along the Rockies as we went north one storm left the mountains near Pueblo New Mexico. We had to drive through it to get to our target area Burlington - at one point the storm winds blew over an 18 wheel truck, it lay right across 3 lanes of the Interstate. We then chased a tornado warned storm and then ended the day in Burlington after a BK.

Started the day in Limon Colorado and ended up in Tucumcari. One storm had a little rotation and another formed a funnel cloud but didn't have the necessary to touch the ground.
