Had a good day. Nothing in todays storms that would worry too many people - sat and watched a few cells developing and chased a couple. Stevie wanted to stand out in the hail so that is what we did. We ended the day in Enid watching the storms surfing on the cold front heading south towards Oklahoma City. Tom

The noise from the tornado was so fliiping amazeballs we had a car full of tree bits debris was raining down on us.

It was an interesting day to say the least t sat there just drilling away at the ground in the field next to usI

It wasnt a bad day and it is always hard seeing tornado warnings in and around the town that you left earlier that morning. Nothing we saw would have made us give up the potential that was on offer further south, So south we went. We grabbed luch at the gas station in Greensburg Kansas, met lots of other chasers. we sat 50-60 miles east of the dry line and played the storm that looked like it had potential. We stayed with that storm through thick and thin. It tried to tornado but alack alas it didnt. We are camped up in Enid Oklahoma will try to post video later Tom

Ok folks we have relocated to Wichita Falls Texas. Heading up towards Colorado tomorrow. - some of the team when firing all kinds of guns, pistol and sub machine guns in Dallas this morning. Report again tomorrow Things a re still looking good Saturday through until next Thursday. Tom

Ok flights went ok met up with the team and we went out for some food to Aspen Creek , had some beers and went to bed. Thinks are looking good storm wise Friday through next Thursday. I am sure Paul will update yall later. sat on the lobby of the motel sipping a hot black coffee. Tom

Ok well I have started packing in earnest - cant say he is happy - hey ho and away we go need to go through my check list to make I miss nothing out.- double check the main things are in the case . I am on call until 8am Tuesday morning and then have the oine day at work to do. have to be away by 4pm cos a train to catch Manchester bound. So looking at the weather. I do not think that we will have hit the ground running and may have time to adjust before we set off this time. A couple of days until Paul is sure about a target are.. Ok batteries to charge and memory stick to wipe clean. Documentation to go through. Train times, flight times and terminals to check. Tom

Ok well i have have started to go through my check list for the tours. I would advise all tour participants to do the same. Do not miss packing some thing important. i.e. Travel Insurance ESTA online visia Train ticket to the airport tell your bank that you are going away and will be using your bank cards in the US , otherwise your bank may think its being used by a A.Another. They will block it. I fly out on May 4th Manchester to Heathrow and then Heathow to DFW. I am working on tours 1 & 2. Get working on your check list right away. Tom

Time to start thinking about getting my tick sheet together so I do not forget something important. Forgot the kitchen sink last year. Always handy to get a complete list of everything that you will need and check eveything as it goes into the case. Peace of mind as you board the train bound for the airport. Clear cameras to take this years offering. Hope to see a lot like this storm I think it was Texas but we started the day in New Mexico,

When you can start to virtual chase , you know chase season is getting closer.

Yes that was an unfortunate year to go chasing. I couldnt go that year because my daughter was getting married but i followed my friends whilst they were out there. what a torrid time chasers had that year. i would log on and see the same surface analysis. the jet stream was flowing north to south right down the centre of the plains. No sir, not been a year like it since. Some poor/dry years but 2006 was not good. Tom
