  1. I only suffer when a thunderstorm is imminent; it's the darkness, stillness and lack of birdsong, or something almost subliminal like that, I think.
  2. Aye, I walked to school in the dark, but I walked home in broad daylight. My youngest bro got run down on his way home from school in 1978, at about 4 p.m.
