Yes very much my opinion too. Gfs always overplays the Atlantic. Its will. Slowly get better and up to speed. Can see a very good evening run on its way. Ensemble now probs show a better pic when come out.

12z will look even better. Atlantic struggling to get thru. Bit of uncertainty from the gfs but I think it will slowly backtrack next few runs. To be more in line with other models

Looks very warm/settled from weekend onwards. Just about hit 20oC here on Saturday and that was comfortable enough for me. Anything higher is a bonus. A few evening storms wouldn't go miss either lol. Getting more and more into reliable time frame now so looking good. We'll done 18z.

I think the gfs00z had an hangover this morning. But it's 6z brother as shown us the way. High pressure and warmer is the trend.

Good signs going forward regarding high pressure/warm temps etc. Trying not to get too excited. Will probably have a bit more confidence after a few more runs. It's a fact the Atlantic will eventually come back but when is anybody guess. But until it does I'm gonna enjoy any fine spells we have and the chase for them.

Yes the trend now from ecm/UKMO but not gfs/but 6z is better. High pressure building up from SW by the weekend. Starting of low teens but temps building nicely by early next. The trend is my friend.

Let's see if we can get trend on the plume situation/high pressure FI devolopement in the mean time enjoy today. And let's see what happens

My thoughts are we shouldn't be too worried about what's showing late next week ie cooler/unsettled weather from the Atlantic. I won't be confident about what's showing until at least next Tuesdays 12z runs are finished. Plenty of time for it to change to better warmer evolution. Remember today is Bank Holiday and less data available to add to airplane data already missing. Happy V E day everyone and stay safe.

I think to be honest I can't complain about most models showing a cold plunge from next Sunday onwards. We have had a stunning first half of spring. Kept me going thru this awful disease. I'm gonna enjoy the sunshine this week knowing the fact it's not even summer yet. If it gets cold next week so be it. Il protect my small plants especially the cucumber. They hate cold. Yes defo knife edge. Gfs 18z last night was terrible. Thought was all over. Ecm gives us up of keeping the nice warm weather.
