  1. I thought the last couple of days models were over pushing the Atlantic in. I now think tomorrow's models will firm up on the warm/spell next week. Slowly going back to what they saw earlier this week. Im pretty confident now and somewhere below Birmingham will hit 30oC at some point next week.
  2. This nowhere near a done deal in my opinion. Roll on the 18z which I think will show build up of the ridge and warm/very warm weather quicker. Gefs ensemble look very very good to me.
  3. Azores ridge gets in but gets moved aside by 216hr on ECM 12z.Still time for it to change still.
  4. Yes 18z gfs is a shocker for warm settled weather. But looks an outlier in the ensemble pack. Can't really trust it lately anyway so doesn't mean much. Just hoping it's not a complete wash out next week.
  5. I have got a feeling that tonight's 12zs could bring up a few surprises. This is far from done and dusted from Tuesday onwards. Nowhere near. Bring on the boom summer charts. Keep the faith fellow members.
  6. Flooding is 2007 destroyed a lot of peoples homes and livelihoods up here in Yorkshire. Pray to God ecm precipitation chart is wrong.
  7. It's just extremely unlikely. If it does questions need to be answered about still building on flood plains and climate change. Ps sorry mods. Its model discussion I know..
  8. Never gonna happen. Be middle ground. Not one model as got a grip what's gonna happen. Get ready for a bumpy ride this evening. Watch gfs be correct lol
  9. I have just never seen all ens been wrong. Not even 1 goes with the trough scenario.
  10. Maybe gfs is wrong. Maybe ecm wrong. I'm. Desperate for more summery weather so maybe a gfs bias. But I'm still going for it to be correct.
  11. All the dire posts in here. I'm not 100% sure this is done and dusted yet. Does gfs no more than the others. If high pressure is still showing to build on the pub run and the ens follow. I'm trusting the gfs this time. Just a feeling its correct.
  12. Excellent runs this evening. It's getting better to look at. Still let's have a little caution going forward. Be more confident about next week after the weekend. Not 2 days ago charts were shocking for summer heat etc. It could all change by the morning.
  13. Tell me about the gloom. Yesterday was bad enough never mind 2 days in a row. It's because we not used to it lately. Shock to to the system ha ha.
