Cold night last night (4.9c low) but lovely sunny morning thus far!

Been the main nightmare here this spring/summer/year as we don't get the sun from it here to at least get some garden time, literally will turn overcast here around 9am and stay that way till 7pm and by then it's down to the low teen's, those ruddy North Westerlies even ruined the winter here! every time it snowed mild upper's came blaring through the Cheshire Gap hours later and washed it away

Rather chilly out there this morning, sunny start but a lot of cloud now 13.4c

Shock horror another 'washout/storm fest' forecast turns into mid level muck and a band of drizzle with storms reserved for usual suspects , overcast and 19.5c here. Storms could be forecast no further east than Ireland and still turn up in ruddy Kent and Eastbourne lol!

Yesterday mostly cloudy, gorgeous today especially after work when could enjoy it, 23.5c and lovely warm sunshine with no breeze, a first for 2015! Sunday looks shockingly decent again! and looks pleasant for my days off next week to ! maybe August will turn out the best of the three for the first time in years!

Better day than forecast overall, mostly cloudy for the bulk of the day but no rain and muggy/warm then long sunny spells after 4pm and a max of 21.5c

Not the horrific drizzle fest I was expecting, mostly cloudy yes but warm 19.2c and the odd bright spell.

Best Saturday of the summer here in the end (not that it takes much doing), still a lot more cloud than would of liked but max of 23.5c made up for it luckily.

Still not one break in the cloud here...not one bit of sunshine after 10am thus temp has held back at 17.8c.

Indeed thick overcast stratomuck here once again, 2nd day on the trot sunshine failed, not even one break in the cloud! -
Prepare, I thought it was looking that way here to (was lovely an hour ago) but completely grey and overcast now ick looks like it's gonna be here practically all day now as it's so slow moving and not breaking up, so that's two 'decent' days down the pan already and to top it off 06z shows tons of cloud bubbling up tomorrow to now here I am done with this summer, worst in living memory.

Thought today was meant to finally be nice? instead unforecast wall of slate grey skies with no breaks which should of broke up by 8am is arriving from the south *sigh*

Finally brightened up here after an eternity of gloom, Saturday forecast 23c and sunny spells, insanity for a weekend day in 2015, Sunday of course brings a reality check back.

This sums it up perfectly, only reason April/June not so good here is that all the nice days came on working weekdays with all weekend's being subpar. Main problem with this year is days like today, 15.9c here and overcast whilst it's 22c and Sunny Spells in Brum which we were 'meant' to also get.

Lord this summer has no mercy does it!?! decent day forecast today and shocker it's rained/drizzle all morning and now thick low cloud since with no brightness dropped back to 15c after 18c in the drizzle at 10am! Satellite shows it well, cloud moving on elsewhere whilst a Shropshire shaped lump refuses to move.

Thankgod I saw some sun over the weekend as it's still impossible here, that wind however, that's still howling on 6 months later..

LOL crystal clear skies all the way back past few hours then as soon as Shropshire appeared so did the wall of mid level muck! Shockingly warm at 22.2c though! a first for a Sunday!

Definitely one of the worst Summers in living memory for Telford alongside 2011, no storms, no heatwaves, not one crystal clear sunny day (apart from June 30th when I was away), a relentless howling W/NW wind, sunshine and showers turns in sunless bands of rain, worst weather of the week always at the weekend, and sustained sub 17c maxima far to often.

Grot made it down to London to this afternoon lol maybe it's me!! apparently rained on and off since midday in Telford with no sun, there's a shock

Thankgod escaping this wretched cursed town for weekend later. Gorgeous all daynow wall of slate grey muck arriving from west as soon as out the door from work!

Oh my gosh SUNSHINE! only 15.0c but it's a miracle, first time in 11 days no joke! Annoyed at this weekend, of course that stupid weather fronts throwing up mid level muck now all day only to turn clear/hot around 6pm through the night and then damp by Monday Morning again! and of course Saturday, band of showers has to come bang around midday into here and wither across for the afternoon! booking train to London...

Sunday trending that grotty mid level muck FAR to close now and Saturday shows band of showers pretty much just for Shropshire. I surrender, gonna get train down south Friday after work for the weekend actually got the flu now!, today even cooler than yesterday high of 14.9c!!!!! with heavy showers.

I'm sure Sunday must be up there for here, high of just 13.3c, today only 15.3c!

Even cooler today, wow, high of 15.3c in late July!!!!! you just know that low to the west over the weekend will end up slap bang over us for Sunday, there's no such thing as 23c and sunny spells on a Sunday in 2015!
