    Glorious day much better than expected with long sunny spells and high of 19c.

    Yeah ^ a surprise very decent day here in the end, started clouding up around 11am so thought cloudzilla was doing it's usual but afternoon became mostly clear and hovered around 16.5-17c, lovely, probably the sunniest Sunday of the year ironically!

    http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rtavn3842.gif LOL summer finally arriving on the equinox according to the 12z, would be quite fitting actually, another Sept 2011 heatwave would be excellent, especially if it carries on all through October to, winter can hold off as long as possible please after that summer.

    I don't think I've ever gone into September feeling so drained and deprived of a summer, amazing how not one weekend all year was garden/beach worthy, just praying GFS is onto something next weekend as this coming warmer/sunnier week is a waste now the sun's to low after work to notice it.

    In spite of the forecast still generally overcast here, not helped by the fact it's only 12.7c. Thankgod charts are slightly better for end of the week now! to be honest were owed another September 2011 spell after that summer but i'll take any temperature at this point for a sunny weekend.

    Hahaha thankgod still got a few days holiday from work later this month, definitely need a mini break to Spain or somewhere now my usual Indian Summer is a fail, looks dead cert for any nice weather to breakdown by next Friday

    Wouldn't bet on it, GFS an absolute cloud fest weekend, and to late now to catch sun after work weekdays what a disaster this year was, had to buy new bulbs for my SAD lamp already lol!!!

    Oh dear checked in for a look at the outlook and gasped, this year...wow I mean there are no words, no summer and now straight to November, Vitamin D back out it is.

    Sods law heading to London this weekend and looked warm/pleasant before and dire at home, now looks like an atrocious washout Sat/Sun and nice at home, rain follows me!

    Cloudy and muggy here, the odd very hazy sunny spell, 20.5c Looks like there's a cell on the leading edge of the front about to slam into Hereford area.

    First real weather event since the March 2013 snow here, first proper storm since 28th July 2008, incredible beast, dropped to 17.1c from 23.9c an hour ago.

    Woahhhhh my gosh just had a fairly brief but one hell of a beast of a storm, best since July 2008!!!!! absolutely insane rain rates, pitch black nightsky, lightning after 2 seconds endless thunder and swirling winds! cleared through now though still thunder every few seconds.

    Just got back from Brum, 27c there hot sunny spells, should of stayed longer looking at the radar as all kicking off around there now!

    Aye i'm on the next train to Birmingham myself to see some sun and warmth today, not seen it once in 2 weeks and immune system's felt like January.

    Hmmm looks like train journey it is, thick cloud/mist/dross as usual this morning whilst down the road is 25c+ and sunny today, not here for that.

    Not fussed about storms always a fail here since 2009, gonna get up early and plan by the satellite where to go for some sunshine instead, obvious that stupid front will drape it's drizzle over here till 5pm while it's 28c down the road.

    Not really been humid though until this week, it's been the least humid summer I can remember actually with frequently cool/even chilly night's.

    August was on course to be the best month of the summer but it's really gone to pot again, the consistent dark/overcast days and I mean really low levels of light is shocking this year, days like today and yesterday in previous summer's would brighten up with a fohn effect but alas 0 minutes of sun it is.

    Zzzzzzz losing the will to post anymore, flat featureless grey skies and minimal sunshine, Vitamin D lamp for SAD been back out for weeks, fully expect a less minute downgrade Saturday to keep that band of grotty rain over here the entire weekend, zzz
