  8. ^^^ Oh shock of course now it's the weekend the entire countries bathed in thick fog with no sign of breaking up urgh.
  9. Fingers crossed the fog dodges here this weekend, took till around 1pm to clear today and yesterday but been in work till 4 so no bother, would be nice for this weekend to be clear start to finish and grab some final sunshine before the Atlantic steamrolls in Monday.
  10. Absolutely glorious today, better in fact than most of summer with high of 19.4c and rich blue skies, sods law when at work and jinxed the weekend now saying it was gonna be nice
  11. Wow 12z GFS is incredible, here's hoping the warmth/sun last's into next weekend! was gorgeous down in London yesterday even got a bit of a tan which is surprising for so late in the year!
  12. Revolting day, dark and no daylight from 9:30am onwards, vile.
  13. Ick the grot wasted no time in rolling in here, was hoping for a sunny morning ahead of it but it's arrived
  14. Yeh I noticed on Sat24 it kept piling into Shropshire and then a line of haze to from 3pm to top it off whilst was clear just south and east
  15. Is there any explanation why once again cloud has convected up around 10am, spread out, flattened out and blocked the sun all day since like it does in the Summer?? Normally come September these mini high's bring clear skies but it's been like those classic sunny start/end, 9am-6pm muck days we get May - August today!
  16. Darn jinxed it, cloudzilla bubbled up and blocked the sun like it was Mid Summer today, despite blue sky all around clouds have lined up over the sun since 10:30 pffft
  17. Should hopefully be a nice day today now fogs burnt off, please stay clear please stay clear!
  18. Atrocious out there now but very promising signs *fingers crossed* for a pleasant weekend, looks rather decent going off the 12z UKMO and GFS!
  19. Looks like might be a little to far west here today, chilly dark and misty day thus far max of just 12.2c!!!
  20. Luckily cleared away now, brightened up though very gusty with a lot of cloud over Wales, here's hoping it dissolves away like BBC are saying! Edit: Looks like usually Saturday write off, overcast skies quickly blasted back in.
  21. Eeek wraparound of the low dragging out longer than expected this morning (looks like just moving into a Squall line), very dark and gusty with heavy downpours at times, 13.9c. Still hoping for a sunny afternoon!
  22. After the glimmers of hope this week and initial hope of a southerly blast next, it seems business as usual is gearing up, back to the grot, cloudzilla resurfaced dead on work finish today after hot sun and 21c all day in a windowless office!
  23. Fog/Low Cloud took longer to burn off than expected but was in work anyway so who cares, sunny and warm after work pity it's to low in the year to catch in the evenings, max of 20.8c
  24. Similar thing happened last September^^ sunny Monday/Tuesday then the high filled with gloom and the sun never reappeared all month, hopefully judging by the 06z there's still hope yet, tomorrow and Friday nice at least. More north sea grot today here, sun still not broke through, 15.8c
  25. North sea muck today, can't remember last time had that! sunless and grim from 8am onwards, typical weekend is now dead cert rubbish after lovely Thurs/Fri!!!
