  1. Absolute shocker once again today, not surprised 15.7c!!!!
  2. Today and Friday both two of the most attrocious July day's ive known, outlook abysmal, nothing to say really lol!
  3. 18z has summer's return next weekend! praying/hoping this trend is right, September sun is wasted unless you work part time!
  4. Wish flights hadn't been such a rip off for my days off, all flights to Europe like £300!!!!!! revolting weather today despite a 'sunny spells 19c' forecast it's overcast and tomorrow worst chart of the autu...summer so far. I know Summer ends here around 20th July every year and returns 4/5th September for a month but could of at least had a Summer this year first!!! this has been the most 'weatherless' year I can remember, no winter, no Spring, and now no Summer either, just and endless feed of stratocumulus and nagging 20mph breeze.
  5. ^ That was what I was hoping for to, but nooo once again flat featureless grey skies with no sign of a break, standard luck had the worst weather in May for my days off then and now the worst in July
  6. Disgusting day until around 16:30, then very pleasant April evening since, max today 17.9c
  7. I mean to be honest there's not really been any weather here for so long that I can't even remember June anyway, two vile sunless drizzly days, shockingly the past two weekend's have been better than the weekdays! a first for 2015.
  8. Monday the new Sunday?? second week running it's actually been worse than the weekend shockingly, disgusting grey windy day but muggy, 21c.
  9. The parade of cumulus kept coming 1-3pm about 2 seconds sun out of two hours, glorious and sunny again generally 3-5 and then hazy/pleasant since, max of 18.9c so much fresher than yesterday, but considering Sunday's track record, the past two haven't been 'to bad' .
  10. Stunning around lunchtime again, practically overcast now that grots piled in from the Cheshire Gap
  11. Fairly cloudy and chilly with a gusty westerly, 15.7c
  12. Glorious out there now again, weird day, sunny start, generally cloudy 10-12, sunny lunchtime, cloudzilla 1-4 then sunny spells since
  13. Actually brightened up around lunchtime lol! but now the Saturday white haze has hit, seems to around 1pm every week even when unforecast.
  14. Of course the coolest, wettest days of the month are coming for my 3 days off next week after I already moved them back from this week thinking it would be poor (turned out Wednesday was best day of the summer sods law), Late July - End of August always poor then nice September usually.
  15. Really gusty morning, around 60% cloudcover at the minute so less than normal for a Saturday but will wait and see. Edit: Back up to usual 90%+ now, no sun for half an hour.. zzzzzz
  16. The forecast clearance has never really arrived today surprisingly, expected a clear if blustery afternoon but stayed generally cloudy, 17.4c
  17. Yawn as predicted, all the excitement over the usual suspects as ever, I heard Shropshire was one of the few places to dodge the storms the other week to. July 2008 remains the last time we got a worthwhile, long length storm here. Still a balmy 21.4c, shame couldn't of lasted for a Friday Night beer garden!
  18. Knew it would happen, in fact I should of put a bet on it, all week charts have shown ridge of high pressure with the front scraping Northern Ireland, now of course the last minute curse comes in to ensure a direct hit. Poorest year for weekend's I have known ever in fact, next weekend already looking October esque. Generally grey today after a clear chilly night (6.5c low), lovely and warm out there at 21.5c but been less than 5 minutes of sun since 10am and hurricane Shropshire is back in action.
  19. What an absolute fool I was moving my 3 days off this week as looked dire before, today's been one of the best days of the summer once the cloud cleared. My favorite weather, crystal clear blue skies and refreshing around 19c, zero humidity and breezy but not to much. Surprise surprise Saturday now changed to showers from warm sunshine before here, fully expecting Sunday's front to blast through the high still, we all know high pressure on a Sunday isn't possible in 2015
  20. Gross sunless day but muggy/warm and no breeze (a miracle this summer), at least it's not cold, 19.4c
  21. Typical Sunday weather on a Monday for once, only muggy/humid, still holding at 18c now, fohn effect so probably hold up around 17/18 most of the night.
  22. Reverse psychology worked for a while lol, brightened up around 13:30 with long sunny spells for few hours, cloudzilla returned now.
  23. This year must go down as the worst year of all time for weekend weather here if it carries on, was away on the two best Saturday's of the year (last 2 weeks) and every Sunday's been sub par, even today which was forecast 22c and sunny spells once the front cleared is grey and windy.
  24. Yuck what a waste, first decent Sunday of the year forecast and it's grey grey grey as usual going to end up brightening up at like 7pm Curse strikes again....
  25. Fingers crossed it brightens up RE: GFS/BBC predictions, showers seemed to of cleared for now and muggy at 17.3c with dp of 16c. Edit: Tipping it down again now no sign of forecast brightness of course it's a Sunday afterall..
